Damn, I can only wish for something like this. I never went to prom for almost the same reasons, I used to get bullied and some people used to tell me that no one wanted me at prom. So I'd stay home. But nobody would come to my rescue😂. People don't really notice me anyway and I'm mostly alone. But through these ASMR I kinda imagine those memories in a different way which is weird but comforting I guess.

Hi guys. Have a big update on my life now considering my comment was 7 months ago 😅. Well to start of I will say that I've definitely changed now. No, I still do not have a girl or a girlfriend. But I've changed in a positive way. Somewhere along the line I started to think about my situation. I started to think hard on why girls don't like me and why I'm lonely. I read alot about it and came to the conclusion that, if a girl doesn't like you, that is the biggest indication that you need to change. I realized this when reality hit me and I found out that I just want love, but I can't offer anything in return except love, but love is just a tiny part of the bigger picture. I asked myself, am I financially stable enough to support her? Do I have any goal that I want to reach or am I just sitting here doing nothing? Are there genuine areas that I can improve? Am I ready for reality? These were all questions that I asked myself and I finally decided to make a change. I stopped playing videos games (not entirely) and I stopped watching alot of Netflix and other shows (not entirely) and I also stopped masturbating to pornography. I went out of my comfort zone, I would deliberately put myself in situations I didn't wanna be in. Ive been doing so for the past 5 months now. And so far I have lost 42KG(don't know how much that is in pounds) I've started to eat healthier, I've gotten better skin, I study and read more so that I gain more knowledge, I'm doing more online course and internships for further experience, I get up and I do my workout daily, and everyday I wake up I watch motivational videos to keep myself motivated. So far I'm alot happier now. I have more confidence. Heck, even girls approach me, but I'm not interested in any relationship now until I'm satisfied that I can take care of her in the future. My desire for women has shifted as well. I don't just want girls that hug you and cuddle you and that's about it, because that not love. I want someone to not leave me when the bad times come. I want someone to support me in my decisions. Thats what I would call love. Unfortunately I've also started to stop watching these ASMR videos since I would get into a state of depression after I was done watching these videos. Instead of going away or hating reality. I'm going towards it, because reality is, if you want anything in life (love included) you have to work for it. Everything on the media is a fake representation, heck even this asmr is a fake representation. Reality is I didn't get anyone for prom because I had no aim in LIFE. I was fat, unhealthy, financially unstable, comfort loving idiot and then I had wishful thinking that someone would love me this way 😂. That's not how the world works. You gotta go through hell to improve yourself, to prepare yourself for reality. Now even though I don't have a girlfriend. I see many people struggling with relationships either because they can't support one another, they weren't compatible with one another or that they won't get up and work hard to support each other.
So I know this was a long reply. But just wanted to update you on my life. Yes, if you do find a girl that loves you as you are then that's great. But for me, I realized that I was already in a negative state and I relied on love to save me, now I say that I need to save myself and stop relying on people, at least make myself happy, because then I'll probably find someone out there that will see me as a hard working person that has a aim in life, that doesn't just sit around 24/7 doing nothing. Another thing I would like to add is that because I have a routine now. I'm almost completely free from depression because I don't think about it alot and keep myself busy doing other things and being more productive.

It sounded to me like you were halfway in between "flat, emotionless, monotonic recital of a written script whose words you can pronounce but can't understand" and "fully emotionally expressive variations in speed and pitch, appropriate to the emotions involved in the scene". But tonality is a skill that can be practiced. Overall, you are good at this!
I should note that this is the very first of your audios that I've listened to. If you've already addressed this issue in later recordings, then I apologize for bringing it up. I just wanted to write this comment while it was still fresh in my mind.
