Question: when they design these balls with their new cover-stock why do I hear so many bowlers sand if off before the ball works good for them? If HK-22 is so good why do we have to hit it with a 1000 or 2000 pad first? Why don't the companies box the ball already hit?
you know, that's a great question. for example a OG zen comes out of box shiny and is a pearl. maybe they want to show it's a pearl by being shiny and give the bowler an option to change the surface to whatever they're bowling on so that it reads the lane more consistently, but then im like idk, because they physix vebo tricked me and is pearl but came out the box dull. great point!
