Prepared For Our King (Second Sunday in Advent Sermon)

In this sermon, Pastor Bader describes how we are readied for the return of God to this world. Even though we are drawn to sin and don't completely obey God's command, FAITH prepares us to come face to face with him. Although sinful beings are eviscerated in the presence of God, arming ourselves with repentance, God's word, and faith will prepare the believers for the Second Coming. Christ has done the heavy lifting, now we are to abide by his commands. All in all, through God's grace and through forgiveness secured by Christ's sacrifice, we build faith and are given the ability to stand before God upon his glorious return. Thanks be to God for this!
