Matt, I've watched a lot of your RUclips videos and am loving the lectures in your CSCS course. I've always noticed the 'DPT' and 'CSCS' after your name, and I'm glad to see that you're using 'Dr." now. I have mad love and respect for you, Dr. Matt! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience!

Thanks for this post, I'm just beginning to learn how to use this type of technology to help my athletes and I found this really helpful. Can you please comment on how much rest time you had in between each test?

Hi Matt, I've watched your video, and I have a question about the RSI equation. Is jump height or time flight * ground contact time for RSI equation? Thanks for your help.

I want to see the progression of your stats. Retest after 30 60 and 90 days. btw I found Vald company a year ago when I was randomly researching for testing equipment, and they had a bunch of biomechanical testing equipment. I was wandering if they have a bundle of equipments that a new personal training/ performance analysis (physiology and biomechanics) studio can buy.

    Hi
    Hope you are doing great,
Well my question is not pertaining to this video.
As I am 33 year old, 5'9 inches tall, athlete body, weight 65kg, vertical jump 26 inches, squat 50kg and for 3 months doing vertical jump propgram combining ploys and strenth training as well 3-4 times a week. I want to know how many ploys+ strength exercise combination for increasing vert jump.
    Thanks!

It depends on the program. My vertical jump program has a different ratio of strength to plyometrics in each phase

I don’t know if it’s because you’re in the USA but those are definitely more than $6,000 😂 I use them at the school I work at, they are my babies and I will be using them for my masters looking at RSI numbers more closely 👍🏼

It depends on the model you get. These ones specifically from VALD were $380/month for Ben to lease. His other option he said was to buy a similar one from Hawkins for around $6,000 but I'm not sure if you also have to pay for software if you purchase it outright. I'm sure the ones from the lab that do xyz access and stuff are way more than 6k
