Given the high level of play and the large number of runs of 5 or more points of the players these days, I think sets of 10 points are just a bit too short, 15 points would be more appropriate in my opinion

i definitely agree... because im an amature that has played for 3 years twice a week, i make 3 in a row atleast once if its race to 20.
My highest in a row is 7 or 8.....im nowhere near the level of a pro, because i can whiff balls every day and i can go 10 turns in a match without scoring 2 or 3 in a row.
so the difference between jaspers and me becomes smaller the lower the points per inning. (sounds ridiculous, i know)
i think an inning should be 20 points and shotclock 40 seconds, best of 3 and the semi and the finals best of 5.
too many people win a match because of 10-8 innings where you just know the next one might be a miss because he has no position.
and with players capable of scoring 6-8 points in a row almost every match a 10pt inning makes no sense.
