It’s relieving to see ladies like Clarissa Shields evolve into boxing. I recall the female beginners who slapped each other. It hasn’t been too long that females gained that proper form. Judging from Shield’s lack of KO power we can hope that’ll follow, in her &/or other ladies. In any case Clarissa looks like a consummate professional - a real deal.
To be honest if you give women 3 minute rounds like the men, Shields could have more, Ko/Tko, Christina hammer is who comes to mind, if she had another minute each round against her she would’ve got a stoppage.
Claressa is right alot of you don't know that Savannah in her prime in the amateurs couldn't even beat Nouck Fontijn (Dutch boxer) whom won silver @ the olympics. Look it up, and Nouchka is barely EUROPEAN LEVEL. Alot of you want to stand by your fighter and that's cool but don't be delusional. For the record i'am Dutch but i'am a boxing fan. Go by skills, and history already showed you that Claressa has grown so much since that close points loss when she wasn't even an adult. She also won 2 olympic gold medals and unified 3 divisions 2 of them undisputed. Meanwhile Savannah picked up several losses against Nouchka if i'am correct 5 out of 6. Guess what, Claressa dominated Nouchka whom was MUCH bigger then Shields as for dimensions so Savannah isn't that much different to her either. Claressa will outpoint Savannah and after that all you cheerleaders will make excuses. Know your boxing history laddies and gentleman. Facts are facts, Savannah ain't on Claressa's level period.
I understand why Savannah uses the fact that she is the only woman ever to beat Shields, but the truth is the amateurs means very little now. Savannah had a typical amateur style back then, but she is totally different as a Peter Fury trained pro. Where they are now is what matters, not years old statistics.

Go see their amateur bout. Claressa has NEVER lost a fight. NEVER. Savannah was handed a win. She didn't earn it! They finally aired the fight on RUclips. Nothing stopping all if you from these slow comments. And Claressa is just as lovely. The princess Diana of MURIKKKA. She is giving and loveable and fun and witty, an intellectual fighter, a good girl... So many great things to say about her. Savannah needed some money. Calling out Shields was her only hope. So the hype began. Albeit, Claressa Shields went on record as soon as they aired the amateur bout between her and Marshall. GWOAT NOTES 🥊💯🥊
It's ok for Shields to say the ref should have stopped the fight, she had 10 rounds to stop Kozin and couldn't. Savannah beats Shields by stoppage every time.
Reminds me of a Jeff Lacy, without the power..Believes his own hype then meets Calzaghe. Savannah will not just school Clarissa but brutally break her down.Never been surer. 🥊

Not always it doesnt......Wilder is a very good example of this, a lot (maybe most) people he fought were more skilled than him, but there was only one man he didnt beat. Certainly in this case power didnt over come skill, but Im not convinced she had big power anyway.
People always talk like getting in the ring and boxing some is easy and you should be able to just KO them. Emma Kozin was unbeaten in how many fights? Styles make fight. Much harder to outbox someone than just throw heavy hands as wilder found out anyone can have punch power need skills aswell. Interesting fight and a fight to promote the main fight with savannah fact is though when someone’s been waiting to fight someone they’ve studied them and believe they have the tools for the job. That’s a fact shields will be a different fighter when the Marshall fight comes around believe me. Marshall isn’t regularly fighting either which isn’t good
When Marshall fights the Gwoat the commentators will start being much more honest very fast 😂. Claressa is going to beat Marshall and her post fight talking will be some of the best ever.
She couldn’t knock Kozin out. She definitely won’t knock Marshall out. Kozins records is all against unranked opponents give or take a couple. Kozin looked amateur. This was always gonna be a easy fight for shields. Marshall would of knocked out Kozin within 3 rounds imo

For every success story there is a struggle behind it this young lady has written her story and it's just getting better I miss flint aka city Flintstone
I hope shields does get revenge on Marshall but honestly I have no idea. Savannah got devastating power but it’s true that Shields has the technique to break her down slowly.
GWOAT lol. 10 round fight with 2 minutes. You had a 20 minute below par fight. Self delusion running rampant. The Ego has landed lol. Marshall will smoke her if she stands. She won't. She will try and run.
Kozin is decent shes got skills........shes just not ready for Shields, she seemed.....not scared, but nervous of the occasion. Fighting very robotic/jerky due to nerves. Shields much more relaxed.
If CLARISSA worked on that JAB, these fights would end a lot sooner! The work she does to the body would open up with that jab, and I don’t know too many women in boxing that could stand there and take that level of shots. Amazing! 🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊
I honestly didnt see the woman whose supposed to overwhelm and and outclass Savannah Marshall, she had a sitting duck infront of her and there wasnt many tricks to her game to try and unlock her, maybe she was fighting to the level of the opposition but this performance doesnt convince me at all, shes already beat clarissa in the ametuers and i think the pro game only suits her more
@Mikell Black shes 4 yrs older than her so your maths isnt amazing, all im saying is that i dont see a woman in clarissa who has the capability to overwhelm and "school" Savannah the way alot of ppl seem to think she will, clarissa is a great fighter, i just thinks shes a touch too small for Savannah and i think their styles match up in the pro game for what i think will be a fairly simple win Savannah, dont get me wrong clarissa can win that fight and if im wrong im wrong, but i personally dont see it
@@cierankinsella3451 what are you seeing that will make this easy for sava? Clarissa has the edge on defence, speed and boxing IQ. That’s a bad match up for any boxer to face.
@@TheWallethead like i said she honestly doesnt have many tools to open girls defense, the size is a big issue aswell, clarissa can beat sav, but i dont see anything that makes THAT much better like ppl say, shes really good but tbh probably needs to drop a weight cos she hasnt got the size to worry these girls, shes beat everyone comfortably so far but sav has a comparible skill set, legit power and the size. If clarissa beats sav she really can be in the GWOAT convo but in her pro career her strength of opposition hasnt been amazing, sav has fought alot of the same opponents at this point and you can see what a true middleweight with a high level skillset can really do, i see sav dropping her in rd 5ish and a stoppage somewhere around rd8, clarissa is just to small and will have to work so hard to keep her off her that her feet are defo gonna slow down at some point and once they do its a dangerous place to be for her.
@@cierankinsella3451 surely your point can’t be that if a fighter can’t win by KO they need to drop weight class…. That’s a very moronic take on the sport. The size is not an issue at all. The power might be but that’s about it. I expect Sav to miss a lot of punches cos she’s slow and Clarissa has excellent defence and great head movement. Expect fast counters. Can sav actually fight going backwards? That’s something that we are yet to see really. When it comes to who has more tools, there’s no debate that Shields has the upper hand.
And shields did exactly what she set out to do with the win vs savanna in her own country 👏 that's epic!!!! For shelids to come to the UK! And come for her and back it up! Wow goat 🐐

All her 9 KOs were in UK. If care is not taken, it may be like Fury vs Wilder. We know Fury is an entertaining and dominating fighter while Wilder is a KO fighter who only depend on his KO to win.
Who has Shields ever been hit by ? Trust me buddy when savanna lands the first meaningful punch all the plans will go out the window end of I ain’t saying shields ain’t a great boxer she is but she will not stand up to marshals power end of ….
In the words of Mike Tyson everyone has a plan til there punched in the face …..
@@TwoBallsOneDriver After their fight, I will come back to update you. Peace!!!
When fighters come to survive it's hard to finish them.
She also was dreaming of beating the Yank... Natural Tradition..
CONGRATS MS. SHIELD!!!
With a Civil Right cross🥊, Shieilds punished her from pillar to post.
Was there any question that she was doing the most?
At one point Ema almost had a stroke
Wipe the smile off yo face, she ain't no joke!🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
You ain't freaking lie maaann 😂😂😂😩
And Yes Congratulations to the GWOAT 💪🏾❤️
I'm riding with Team GWOAT. She beats Sav UD. Skills pays the bills.
She’s a mayweather of the woman’s division, people thought may-weathers fights were boring while he was active but every single one of us would love to watch his career over again. Just appreciate Cleressa while she’s here cuz she’s one of a kind
You're trippin, that's why the likes of Haney, Rigo, and Lara get booed out the arena. People love action fighters ; Virgil Ortiz, Spence, Inoue, Choco
THAT INTRO SHIELDS ?! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 LOVE IT ENERGY IS UNMATCHED ✊🏾✊🏾
You can see she’s one of the best fighters in the planet
Who Kozin? 🤣🤣
How lol
lmfao
Kozin wasn’t great though. But yeah sheilds is good. But kozins level was low
@@dickie35 Trust me, if sheilds was so good and worth all the hype she would've dismantled Kozin easy but she couldn't

Dnt know how people think this is boring t.b.h
I agree! Great fight!
Made me fall asleep. Marshall will smash her all over. Never had a good fighter yet
Claressa Shield is a passionate boxer.
@@DerrickFisher420 Marshall doesn't need 3 mins
Claressa, you are the greatest WBA of all times in my EYES. I will be praying for your success, and much love, take care.
There is no way savana would have knocked her out in the 4th. Kozin can box. It’s just that Claressa made her look terrible.
ordered More Dude Kozin was begging to get knocked out Claressa just dont have any power
I'm saving this for when I can't get to sleep
😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha, thanks for this.
👎👎👎
Loooooooooooool
That hand speed is crazy, alot of women lack hand speed but not Claressa, her hands are lighting.
I'm obsessed with Shields confidence & ability to take a lick& hit bk harder❤🧡MY favorite female boxer 🤌
But savannah beat shields, that’s all that matters.
I understand why Savannah uses the fact that she is the only woman ever to beat Shields, but the truth is the amateurs means very little now. Savannah had a typical amateur style back then, but she is totally different as a Peter Fury trained pro. Where they are now is what matters, not years old statistics.
@@gamerd8709 But did she beat her in the pros? Yes or No..
I can't wait for Clarissa to beat the braces of Savannah period!!!!!
@@silvabackmusic5372 shields gonna get knocked out
i simply love the way Claressa punches
Shields fighting, the cure for insomnia
Shields is a patient fighter that's what makes her so great
I'm from UK and rate Savannah highly but I don't think she wins unless she can draw Shields into trading with her, if not it's gonna be a long night of punching wind, Shields head movement is amazing
Not enough power
@@JohnDoe-nt1sv Glad you said that, I come back to this vid and watched this and thought the same, she should go to a trainer who can teach her to sit down on her punches, Tyson did the same with Sugar Hill and he was known as a skilled boxer with 0 power
@@mrmiyagi7388 if she had power we would of seen it by now...
@@bendover9663 You didn't read my comment, Fury was 6'9 over 250lbs and couldn't finish a damn thing, we used to call him pillow fist and praise his IQ, he went to Sugar Hill, was taught to sit behind his punches and now he's known as a monster puncher with KO power, the same can be applied to Shields, she can rock em but she doesn't put em down, she needs to work on her finishing ability, the rest is there
Go see their amateur bout.
No power at all
Reminds me of a Jeff Lacy, without the power..Believes his own hype then meets Calzaghe. Savannah will not just school Clarissa but brutally break her down.Never been surer. 🥊
Savannah also pulled the same card Calzaghe did on Hopkins.Came into the interview and got under Clarissas skin.Totally rattled.🤣👶
Savannah aint fast enough shields is too skillful
This is a joke. Marshall’s resume is poor. She KO’s nobodies.
Flawless performance 🔥🔥. It was a total beat down. She is going to put a beating on Marshall.
Shields will outbox Marshall for sure. But man if Marshall lands some good shots.... She targets everywhere as well, she's not some head hunter. And for sure Claressa's toughest opponent.
@@MalphasMikaelson Sucktannah Marshmellow will not be able to land that hard shot, but remember: Claressa experienced head kicks and bodyslams in MMA aaannd The GWOAT stars with men, so she's already faced, been hit by, and held her own against her harder-faster-more-explosive hitter-than-Sucktanna male sparring partners. Sucktannah Marshmellow is in trouble.
Don't think so.. Savanna Marshall is better in every department and a natural finisher.. She will beat shields but be a good fight..

Is she hell. Who as she fought.
Crazy talk
Yea hes good
What a performance by shields she just dominated the whole show but respect to the other fighter she did her best to stay alive
Skill Beats power. Boxer beats puncher. So thinking Savannah beats Shields because of power, you are mistaking. Styles make fight.
Not always it doesnt......Wilder is a very good example of this, a lot (maybe most) people he fought were more skilled than him, but there was only one man he didnt beat. Certainly in this case power didnt over come skill, but Im not convinced she had big power anyway.
Exactly
@@SA77888 wilder isn't a great example his career was based on beating absolute bums.
Problem with that is Savannah has skills too
@@mikeyL575 There are no bums in boxing.
Just some real black power nothing else......love you baby
People always talk like getting in the ring and boxing some is easy and you should be able to just KO them. Emma Kozin was unbeaten in how many fights? Styles make fight. Much harder to outbox someone than just throw heavy hands as wilder found out anyone can have punch power need skills aswell. Interesting fight and a fight to promote the main fight with savannah fact is though when someone’s been waiting to fight someone they’ve studied them and believe they have the tools for the job. That’s a fact shields will be a different fighter when the Marshall fight comes around believe me. Marshall isn’t regularly fighting either which isn’t good
I can’t wait for Shields to pack Marshall up. Sick of this narrative
When Marshall fights the Gwoat the commentators will start being much more honest very fast 😂. Claressa is going to beat Marshall and her post fight talking will be some of the best ever.
Yes!!! I cant wait!!
After that performance 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Uppercut knockout by the 4th round.

She couldn’t knock Kozin out. She definitely won’t knock Marshall out. Kozins records is all against unranked opponents give or take a couple. Kozin looked amateur. This was always gonna be a easy fight for shields. Marshall would of knocked out Kozin within 3 rounds imo
I notice when time is almost up after each round, that's when Shields go even harder. Gotta love her ❤❤❤
All that bragging Kozin was saying at the weigh-in became the punching bag for Shields, good job girl😁
I just started watching shields fights. I see why that lady called her pillow fist now. Still won
Somebody please tell me how this performance by Shields equates to a victory over Marshall.

WOW! Ms. Kozin took some real body shots!
Really didn’t see the “gwoat” we keep hearing about… Good technique but absolutely no power. Sav gives her hell and stops her if they actually fight, the size difference is huge too!
Don’t need power to be the goat
Savannah Marshall looks like Steven Gerrard
Savannah is good, but Shields has better skills than her and the speed would overwhelm her too.
@@angelareele858 that's not the insult you think it is

Claressa isn’t a finisher but she will still pick Savannah Marshall apart
I hope shields does get revenge on Marshall but honestly I have no idea. Savannah got devastating power but it’s true that Shields has the technique to break her down slowly.
GWOAT lol. 10 round fight with 2 minutes. You had a 20 minute below par fight. Self delusion running rampant. The Ego has landed lol. Marshall will smoke her if she stands. She won't. She will try and run.

Fight of the year in my opinion.
Give it up to Kozin cos many boxers would have fold up at round 4. She's strong and absorb as a pro
Amazing! 🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊
How can she be known as the gwot after just 11 fights lol
She’s unified in 2 divisions and won 2 gold medals in the amateurs
Shows you how small the talent pool is in women's boxing if you can become the greatest of all time in 11 fights 😂
Laila Ali is the real gwoat
she misses 80 percent of her shots, so sloppy

I would buy a game system for the first time if they made a Womans boxing game with Claressa Sheilds on the cover of it. 💝
That young lady fought a good fight
claressa is my favorite
@@TheWallethead He's a casual.
Clarissa understands the fight game. She’s very intelligent

Shields is in a really tough spot. No one in her weight class can touch her. She would have to go down several weight classes to meet the better fighters. And the MMA thing hasn't really worked out either

Kozin was little more than a durable punch-bag, but never looked to be in much trouble. Shields seems over-hyped, to be honest - I'm not seeing this next-level skill the commentators keep bigging up. Difficult to see how she can cope with Savannah's power. Savannah is a much more entertaining fighter, so I hope she gets the chance to cut Claressa down to size...
Great 👍 sportsmanship. It's just lessons to learn from more combinations help complete the process of execution

Shield would have finished this fight before round 5, the only problem here is, she don't have finishing punch like uppercut

It doesn’t matter if Clarissa shields gets knockouts. She is the better boxer between her and marshall. The head movement alone is gonna give marshall problems.
Shields is hard to hit. Kind of reminds me of Floyd Mayweather.
