There are a number of Sexual Assault Referral Centres (sometimes known as SARCs) up and down the UK.
A SARC is a service, usually run by the #NHS that offers confidential non-discriminatory medical, emotional and practical support to people who have recently been assaulted. Attending a SARC does not mean you have to report the assault to the police if you don't want to.
SARCs have specially trained doctors, nurses and support workers to care for you. Help is available 24 hours a day.

So interesting, thanks for this Sharon. It’s a sad world that these centres are required but how amazing it is that we have people doing this job with such compassion. Hope anyone who needs this service is okay and can get through it with the SARCs help 🤍
