One of the few young bands actually playing killer thrash metal not just pretending to like some of the new thrash bands out there. Definitely ones to watch for the future.
Well considering their young age, they've got plenty of time to develop. The singer has a load of talent but does need to diversify his delivery just a tad, but man has he got GREAT stage presence. Looks like he's loving it up there.... very nice upstart band, lets hope they continue to write good tunes & develop into something larger.
As someone who grew up on and on the 80's thrash metal, I was disheartaned for some years there because Trhash started to fade or evolve into euro-melodic thrash, and thatb8-0's sound was only carrie don by a few of the 80's thrash bands that were succesful enough and did not seel out. But the new breed of Thrash bands like these guys, Evile, Dekapitator, Htachet, and others are encouraging- as they ressurect the 80's thrash sound. It's beautiful, truly beautiful!
Awesome band, saw them live with Kreator in Cleveland. Talked with the singer as well. He was wearing a Bathory shirt, as were my friend and I. Pretty cool dude!
I saw these guys live at the Orange Peel in Asheville NC in May of 2009 open up for Kreator and they kicked ass.....been a BIG fan ever since....the lead singer is a MADMAN....he's a fuckin killer frontman......
so many years in metal,i had many years to listen an album like that really great job and fantasy in synthesis...... when Morbid Angel met Pestilence......
All of them honestly, check them all out, they have three albums out as of now, War Without End, Waking Into Nightmares, and Worlds Torn Asunder. They were released in that order. Personally I love them all, I think all three albums are great and I recommend them all to anyone. Hope this helps man.
Yeah, when John told us to start a circle pit it was me another dude and some chick. But as soon as Overkill went on everybody went insane. I dont get why people only mosh for the headliners?
@Spartzi i used to play finger style then i switched to pick, i really like the tone that my setup gives when i play with a pick, dont worry, i only use a pick when i play in my band, when i do non punk/metal stuff i use my fingers.
Yep, I saw the show In Philly and Mille said that there. Where did you see 'em? I met the bassist from Warbringer. Well, actually he was standing next to me and I wasn't sure if it was him or not until he signed some people's posters that they bought for a buck, then he left. I however, missed the Warbringer set 'cause I arrived late to the show.
@MetalKnuckles509 WRONG, Epitaph was their last full world tour. They are going to make another album in 2012, they themselves had said that. And they will probably tour for that.
i saw them live back in 2005 in philadelphia, they opened for obituary, that concert was sick...........warbringer, the faceless, obituary, napalm death, dead to fall...
Just because something is brutal, that doesn't make it the best! Their hooky lyrics, catchy vocal patters, technical instrumental attack, and just over all musical presentation sets Havok at the head of the pack. Warbringer is also technical, the lyrics are original, and honestly I think Kevill is one of the best thrash vocalist of all time! It's all personal preference of coarse.
wow dude i thought the same thing about the kirk hammett thing haha his solo's sound very much alike theyre very good and kinda have those blues scales in them
@toxicwaltz89 yea I saw them once with Obituary, Goatwhore, and the Berzerker....and the 2nd time with Vader, augury, and deeds of flesh but im not sure when they were...but the shows were 3 month apart!
until Havok, or anyone for that matter, can come up with something that even comes close to taking on the brutality and intensity of Waking Into Nightmares, Warbringer will always be on top.
John Kevill has such an odd presence, but it's really growing on me. Can't wait to see these guys, I'm really excited to see them with Kreator and Exodus. I think it would be badass if Mustaine got them on Gigantour this year too!
I just saw this band last night with a band called Vader( who were awesome). Didn't know any of the bands I saw there, just went because I was bored and a guy I knew at work suggested it to me. ( "Polish death metal? That sounds FUN"). This band was pretty awesome. Their lead guy had a real Kirk Hammett thing going on. Mainly his look and his guitar solos. The riffs, otherwise, are so Slayer.
I'm also a big Metallica/Megadeth fan, and of course i love old school bands and old thrash songs, but let me tell you: there's something going on with thrash right now. Something BIG. I don't know how but suddenly a big number of new thrash metal bands appeared, almost at the same time and they're good as hell. Here are some of my favorite, sure you've listened to them before, but give them another try: Warpath, Gama Bomb, Warbringer, Evile and if you like a little punky style, Municipal Waste
That's the best 'opening vocal face' I've seen yet in a metal video.
my god. i love you for pointing that out!
It's some top-class gurning, alright.
His vocals have gotten so much better
i can hear influence of black metal here
You're influenced by gay
I can hear it, i just noticed
This guys face is epic hahahhaha love their videos , always wondering what face he will make.
You should see them live
This takes me back to the trash metal in 80's... and it's amazing to know this kind of music is still being created!!!! great!!!!!
One of the few young bands actually playing killer thrash metal not just pretending to like some of the new thrash bands out there.
Definitely ones to watch for the future.
Is a clip from warbringer, why be talking about Havok?
Havok is very good too, but Warbringer is better!
Henrique Osowski Agreed! Both really good thrash though.
Henrique Osowski NO KARATE IN THE PIT! !
that into is class! sticks with you and is catchy
i am so glad that there are finnaly good metal bands for my generation!!!!
i bought this album blindly without even listening to it first and must say it was a good buy from start to finish great album. Thanks Warbringer
I’d say they did a pretty good job!
Still doing a good job. Lol
Warbringer the kings of Extreme Metal
As someone who grew up on and on the 80's thrash metal, I was disheartaned for some years there because Trhash started to fade or evolve into euro-melodic thrash, and thatb8-0's sound was only carrie don by a few of the 80's thrash bands that were succesful enough and did not seel out.

Long hair, headbanging, powerful instruments, vocals...
Thats METAL, true metal !!!!!
Awesome band, saw them live with Kreator in Cleveland. Talked with the singer as well. He was wearing a Bathory shirt, as were my friend and I. Pretty cool dude!
@WarbringerOfficial You guys are awesome; keep the badass metal coming!
So awesome. Good, fast, powerful thrash! John Kevill's vocals fucking rule
these guys sound even better live!
i saw them in may when they toured with gama bomb and it was an awesome gig, despite the venue being mainly empty
FINALY something good from century media. They havent put out anything good in a while
WTF??? I'd NEVER give these guys a THUMBS down wtf is wrong wt this youtube?? 2 thumbs up!!
killer song awsome riff love the strong voice in every song
WARBRINGER RULES
I saw these guys live at the Orange Peel in Asheville NC in May of 2009 open up for Kreator and they kicked ass.....been a BIG fan ever since....the lead singer is a MADMAN....he's a fuckin killer frontman......
so many years in metal,i had many years to listen an album like that
really great job and fantasy in synthesis......
when Morbid Angel met Pestilence......
i remember seeing these guys at Backyard shows when they were nobody, and now they're on headbangers ball. more power to them!
alot like exodus great band
Saw them in Montreal yesterday, the singer cracks me up :P
i;m soooo glad they got a new drummer!
All of them honestly, check them all out, they have three albums out as of now, War Without End, Waking Into Nightmares, and Worlds Torn Asunder. They were released in that order. Personally I love them all, I think all three albums are great and I recommend them all to anyone. Hope this helps man.
@Thrashzzz
I know for sure they open up for Soilwork in 09 at the Rave in WI. That was a badass show.
yehhh me 2 man gonna be an awsome gig cant wait \m/
this song is ridiculously great! my favorite part of the song starts at 1:29 seems like a great mosh pit starter!
I was there too. The singer has a great stage presence and sounds good too.
Man I've written a lot of thrash metal songs but when I heard these guys it was like "damn. back to the drawing board."
WARBRINGER FOREVER!!!
They are young, formed in 2004. This album was released 2008, and they just put out another one that is fucking awesome
Wow! I really like these guys!
Yeah, when John told us to start a circle pit it was me another dude and some chick. But as soon as Overkill went on everybody went insane. I dont get why people only mosh for the headliners?
Seeing them this Friday, can't wait!
@Spartzi i used to play finger style then i switched to pick, i really like the tone that my setup gives when i play with a pick, dont worry, i only use a pick when i play in my band, when i do non punk/metal stuff i use my fingers.
Awesome. Great video. Killer thrash. Hail Warbringer.
My band played with them back in december 20th of 07, that was when they had just been signed, we kicked it with them for a while, pretty funny guys
I'm seeing them this Saturday it's gonna be bad ass
the drumming fits the music perfectly. not every song has to have ridiculously fast and technical percussion.
the 2nd time i saw these guys they were missing 2 guys and they still played a killer set, Warbringer owns!
I remember seeing them and everyone in the band was missing and Metallica was playing instead.
@9Metalhead5 They are awesome, and they are doing a massive Headlining US tour right now and are touring Europe with arch enemy sometime in November.
Hey what are the names of those old school thrash white tennis shoes. You know the look? the tight black jeans and those hi tops with the fat tongue.
@MetalKnuckles509 WRONG, Epitaph was their last full world tour. They are going to make another album in 2012, they themselves had said that. And they will probably tour for that.
@JolaNoBola its worth it, there coming over here to houston on the ninth cant wait
Thank you! Bring back the thrash!
i am loving this band.....i ignored them before...but now they are fucking killer. i am goin out to buy their albums
Best new thrash band out there, in my opinion.
Thumbs up for both of you.
i saw them live back in 2005 in philadelphia, they opened for obituary, that concert was sick...........warbringer, the faceless, obituary, napalm death, dead to fall...
warbringer are so unbelievably good
Just because something is brutal, that doesn't make it the best! Warbringer is also technical, the lyrics are original, and honestly I think Kevill is one of the best thrash vocalist of all time! It's all personal preference of coarse.
ahh i love these guys.
oh god yesssssss....... give me moree!!!!!!
wow dude i thought the same thing about the kirk hammett thing haha
his solo's sound very much alike
theyre very good and kinda have those blues scales in them
i was partying with these guys after they preformed it was awesome
hell yea, im going to that too on the 25th if i remember correctly
@MetalKnuckles509 Priest isn't retiring, they're just not doing any more world tours.
This brings back HS memories ❤
great new band!!!!
saw them at Nokia, NYC and Troc , Philly-----Kreator killed !!!!
His vocals are insane.
old school video, old school thrash death feeling. Rescuing true metal i love it!!
@sixxdog OK. Thanks for the list. I will probably check this bands.
@toxicwaltz89 yea I saw them once with Obituary, Goatwhore, and the Berzerker....and the 2nd time with Vader, augury, and deeds of flesh but im not sure when they were...but the shows were 3 month apart!
bring back the old school , Hell yeah
see you guys here in Philippines..let the war begin ...
Warbringer, Municipal waste, Toxic holocaust, Violator and Dekapitator are in my opinion the best new thrash metal bands!
until Havok, or anyone for that matter, can come up with something that even comes close to taking on the brutality and intensity of Waking Into Nightmares, Warbringer will always be on top.
nice they are the best to come out of the new wave in my opinion
Wow!
These guys kick ass!
And that's coming from a hard-to-impress 34 year old guy who's been raised by Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden and Megadeth
This is great it's 3 types of genres black and death but with pure thrash agression
John Kevill has such an odd presence, but it's really growing on me. Can't wait to see these guys, I'm really excited to see them with Kreator and Exodus. I think it would be badass if Mustaine got them on Gigantour this year too!
the lead singer was wearing those shoes at the concert i was at, he was wearing them on one of the album cases and hes wearing them now
@DEATHMETAL1239 SEVERED REALITY!!! that song is on repeat for like 4 times at least once a day.
the part where the singer sings while walking through the hall reminds me of the video for "war is my sheppard"
the vocalist is far beyond sick
@doolb666 The black metal touches give this album originality without ruining it. There's just enough blast beats to make this album killer!
@Emac13 Seeing them again in November with Nevermore!!
Mainly his look and his guitar solos. what an awesome new band
the riffs at 1:29-1:46 are fucking EPIC! love this shit! this song pounds my speakers in my car....10/10
Epic face at 0:58. These guys are awesome!
@metaldrummer97 I said the same thing..they would fit right in with Slayer,Sepultura,Destruction...etc all the awesome thrash bands in the 80's.
These guys are the new Slayer, just watch.
These guys kick assssssss
dude the vocals are bad ass
saw this guys at the hob here in las vegas god they kicked ass " mortals falling down............... mortals XD GG WAR
@metaldrummer97 I totally agree.... They do sound like they should be in the late 80's or early 90's...right before the Grunge thing happened....
Loving the high budget.
Thanks a lot man, should have new stuff up in a couple months! Stay tuned.
killing song!
at the Vogue in vancouver, or where?
I think the intro is great!
you were in Louisville too? Then you saw John get up with Mille and sing Pleasure to Kill too!!!! Fuck that set ruled!!!!!!!
is a great begining and great song for do the bangerhead
I'm also a big Metallica/Megadeth fan, and of course i love old school bands and old thrash songs, but let me tell you: there's something going on with thrash right now. Something BIG.
