This is deceptively simple. I’m trying to just learn by hearing that second picking you’re scratching out after song that note and then playing the G string part, it’s like the timing. The whole song has this weird, super simple but very important, and you really wanna be hitting all those colors you can put in. And it’s fast. I like trying a version maybe 75% speed that we all play to, it’s cool like doing a slower version of Aloha Ia o Waianae. Or a fast version of Hiilawe.

I think that fill is is playing G-G-F#-F on E string, then open C string hammer on to D, and open E string
