I've just started playing pokemon go and watching it after a 5ish year long break and i absolutely love your videos when you visit Japan! Keep it up! 👍
I’ve had about 2 breaks where I’ve taken nearly a year off and so far this is the most consistent I’ve been with the game (despite the negativity as of recent) but it’s possibly the most I’ve enjoyed it. Looks like I’ll be playing at a popular spot nearby me for Go Fest and I really look forward to it!
The event has been amazing, but Ill be real I came here for the travel, this is the Trainer Tips I missed, Thank you Nick for this video, looking forward to saying hello to you in NYC!
ive been watching you since 2016 and dude it never gets old. You don't even have to play pogo to watch your videos, I appreciate you filming your journey's, for someone who has never been on a plane and most likely wont ever go to japan its so sick watching your videos of the monuments and scenery.
You can just see Nick's enjoying himself. He's doing something he loves and not entirely because of PoGo but they compliment each other very well. Keep it up man!
Dude 100% man. I feel like Nick's probably the best PoGo youtuber as his videos are a good balance of catching pokemon and traveling to new places. I've watched him since start of Pogo in summer of 2016 and I've stopped playing since 2017. Recently picked it up again and there's so many things to do. Literally playing it all day every day!
Im still happy your still doing more content of the POKEMON GO, i remember back 6 years before, you are only 45k subs, now your 1mil, and when you visited PHILIPPINES. im super happy you still keep going the grind, now i need to re-install the game again and be happy again.
I love that you're out driving and experiencing Japan beyond the big cities this time! :) It makes my inaka heart all warm and fuzzy. Thank you for this video
I love to see you traveling!! Next time you drive through those mountains, try to stay overnight in Shirakawa-go! It's a historic mountain village where the ancient thatch-roof farmhouses have been turned into bed-and-breakfasts. It's amazing.
So glad you guys are all in Japan. Been here 23 years and have yet to stay at the hotel featured at the beginning of your video, but now want to. Thank you, and enjoy your stay! Maybe see you at GoFest
Nick! The past few vids bring back the OG vibes, looks like you got your motivation back :] now all it needs is the original intro clip... (with the music of course!)
I was fortunate enough to go to Japan in May. Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima. It was really fun hiking and walking through the city catching Pokémon and the stops/gyms are everywhere.
Wow that's weird, I just recently watch a RUclips video from Tom Scott about the worlds oldest hotel. Very cool place. Japan looks such a fantastic place. Great video as usual.
I forgot how much I enjoy your videos I just started watching again and love how you feature the scenery and everything And your shots have good framing and are nice to look at, especially in nature
One of my favorite things to do, and what I enjoy so much, is to watch your adventure's and exploration's in different places all over the world and in nature NIck. Thank you so much for sharing them with us, And thank you for all of your great stories. Your adventurous video's have gave me the courage to take my first trip outside of my home country, and I had an amazing time. Your video's were extremely helpful in being confident and comfortable with traveling, and knowing how to. From the bottom of my heart, Thank you TRNRTipsNick. Enjoy Japan! I'm looking forward to seeing all of your adventure's =D.
I really like that you go explore and do sightseeing and share it all of us whilst playing PoGo. Japan is such an amazing country, so much pretty sights to see.
I still remember one of your old videos in japan, when you first catched Mew. It was a really fantastic video, not only about pokemon but also about japan!
Breathtaking video honestly is the number one reason I love your channel. The places you've visited over the years have brought the world to my screen. Thank you keep up the adventure 😁
Dude, I literally just hatched my first Larvesta last night. Had a feeling it might happen with all the egg hatching benefits lately, but was still caught by surprise
This is probably some of the best content out there for pogo. You’re love for being in nature is amazing, and the music behind it is so vibie and chill. What is the music you used? Looked in the description couldn’t find anything. Stay safe out there Nick. I cannot wait for the next one. Congratulations on the best shiny for adventure week.
Your videos are always so wonderful. My pogo playing has slowed quite a bit with all the changes they've recently made but your joy in life and the game always boosts my day. Enjoy your working vacay and I hope you've the time for another beautiful video
Your adventures around the world with Pokemon Go are honestly my favorite among the content creators. It’s like living life but with Pokemon on the side. Keep it up! ❤
Thanks for the beautiful video! Vids like this one are what makes me think that if I were to ever quit PoGo, I'd continue to watch your adventure videos. Keep up the excellent work.
Great trip through the inaka and mountains in Japan! I lived in a rural, mountainous region while I taught in Japan and this was a great throwback for me.
Great video as always Nick! Super lucky with the shiny Amoura! I stopped playing PoGo recently, for about 6 months or so. I was tired of it, but decided to play for this event and the following events of August. I've been super happy with the recent changes and what they have implemented. Wish these things were released back when the game started, they are really great quality of life improvements!
Love this road trip to Osaka! So awesome. Hey why weren't you hatching 7km eggs? Anyway. LOVE this video. I need to go to Japan. Those mountain areas are absolutely stunning.
It´s the best event ever if you ask me. I got 1 shiny Tirtouga, 2 shiny Aerodactyl and a shiny Cranidos so far and good spawns in terms of IV in general. And all the pokémon are nice and their shinies too.
Hey Nick just wanna say your Japanese is great! You are at the threshold where you are able to tell how certain kanjis look similar to another and can tell what they mean and how they are pronounced. Keep it up!
My partner and I are also in Japan for GoFest Osaka, and coincidentally being here for Adventure week was a pleasant surprise! We've enjoyed Osaka and Kyoto so far and will end the trip with a Mt. Fuji climb and visit to Tokyo. Looking forward to seeing fellow trainers at Expo '70 Commemorative Park on Friday!
5:55 There's a new anime called "Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon" and now I can't unsee it every time the Japanese vending machines come up.
That shiny Amaura actually has great PVP IVs! It's ranked 135 as an Aurorus for the Ultra League (out of 4096), which is really good, especially considering it's shiny!
Love the travel videos. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us. I flinched every time a car passed by. Don't think I could ever get used to driving on the wrong side of the road. And how are those wayside vending machines not vandilized? Pretty cool.
9:07, I guess this is one thing only Japan and Korea have in common. There's even a Korean movie about it--Tunnel. Where I lived in China I don't think any of the roads led through a mountain.
Love the video, love your chill vibes and love the scenery in Japan since i couldn't make it out to that beautiful place this year. Hopefully next year and hope to meet you eventually! Keep it up.
This has been the best event in some time. I'd say this season as a whole has been the best one yet, which is nice as last season was arguably the worst one 🤣
First season was pretty bad after we got most Pokémon to be fair.. and how the game was with nearby and hardly no stops and how gyms worked in the beginning.. atleast last season raiding was better so events for this season have been better but as full I would have to say nah raiding buff killed this season a bit.(it’s been good stuff in raids but the cost for remote and only 5 per day or whatever it is)
I live in Japan, so I am always happy to see you venture outside of Tokyo to other regions. I love Japanese castles (I've been to over 200 castles and castle ruins in Japan), so I'm glad you enjoyed Hikone Castle! It's one of only 12 original castles left in Japan! I'm also glad you made a stop in Gifu! I haven't been to the Utsue 48 Waterfalls, so if your Route is approved, maybe I'll walk it! I look forward to more in Osaka for Go Fest and hopefully other places, too! (As a sidenote, you can submit Wayspots and Routes in English or submit the title in Japanese and description in English. I'd hate to see a submission get rejected for language issues.)
Today was poliwag day, and I hatched my first larvesta!! I also got 3 zygarde cells because my local park has over 15 routes now! Haven't gotten any shinies from the adventure week event, just a bunch of poliwags.
Oh, beautiful Japan. Fantastic video, Nick! Looks like youre having a wonderful time. What a great trip :) Unfortunately the one temple was already closed, but maybe next time. By the way, if you like visiting temples and shrines, collecting 御朱印 _goshuin_ might be something for you. It could make cool souvenirs! About the Japanese: きれい is a "な-Adjective" (even though it ends with an い), so you'd have to add a な between the adjective and the noun, e.g. 綺麗な滝 (きれいなたき). And the counting can indeed be diificult because of all these words that are used for counting... :) The weather is fairly bad here where I am recently, so I wasn't much outside adventuing unfortunately, and I missed the last few rewards of the challenges... now seeing the rewards, I feel like I missed out on some nice ones. Well, I hope next year's Adventure Week will be good, too! GO Fest is alaready around the corner. I'm lloking forward to more videos from Osaka and the rest of Japan! Take care ☀

May I ask why ? If it's a health thing, I'm sorry and say no more, but otherwise maybe it's something you can warm up to the idea of.
You got lucky with double XXL pokemons
You can just see Nick's enjoying himself. He's doing something he loves and not entirely because of PoGo but they compliment each other very well.

Best event in a long time, now if only I could actually find a shiny Tyrunt or Amaura it would be perfect!
I want shiny Amaura do bad 😭 it's gorgeous
I’ve just found my first shiny tyrant tonight. Was proper excited haha
I just hatched a shiny Amaura 🙌🏾
Gotta be a Lil kid to get the new shiny in my experience. Seen multiple shiny amaura at an encount rate lower than 20 😭💀
