@@nickjames1195 well we know we're it's been for the last 20plus years mate.. She been through alot including a fire upstairs🙈.. It was great to part of the rescue 😎
I was always astonished that companies brought out copies of someone else’s idea without there being any legal ramifications. It never occurred to me until watching this video that LG could have had Barcrest’s agreement. I wonder what they had to pay 😊
I was thinking the same thing Bernard.back in the early 80s there were massive amounts of money to be made in the amusement industry so paying barcrest to use their technology probably didn't bother other large companies like leisure games .
Excellent find there, Nick. I recognise the similarities but don't remember spotting one in the wild. @0:39 What machine is that on the left? Looks like £100 Jackpot MPU3 from 83/84 era - Royal Exchange? Good to see you uploading again. Been a while.
Hi grah the one on the left is a mpu3 royal exchange and the Back of the other machine on the right is pot luck both 10p/£100 machines..I doubt many people would remember seeing one of these bonus fruits but I definitely remember seeing machines with that four in one type coin entry plate so must of played one or two .Steve lancett has just picked up a LG machine on mpu2 tech with the same coin entry plate.
@@nickjames1195 Great to know - Royal Exchange - that my memory isn't faulty 😁 lmao. Pot Luck vaguely recall....... On the features does it have a Random Pot, Pick a Pot AND a Pot The Lot perchance? Or something similar, yes? I used to love those Clubbers but wasn't legal to play them lol.
@@nedkabinder Oh 💩 At least you knew to which I referred, Nick. A vid on both would be cool or a link if you've previously done will be much appreciated; purely as a reminder of course. Peace ✌
Very nice Nick.
Similar reel order as the standard Barcrests.
So when i come down,i'll jacky it a few times for you😊
See you shortly mate

Lovely find Nick! Seems strange the sounds coming from that style cab!
Yeah always a bit odd to heat other manufacturers sounds in an odd cab
Great video, really cool machine, looking forward to seeing when fully finished.
I will certainly do a vid when she s all restored 👍
Great to see her up and running.. Mental to think what that machine has been through in the last 20 years.. She's safe now👍🏼
Yeah makes you wonder where its been since it was built and it'll now get the treatment it deserves
