Is this place safe for African Americans? I am only asking because I have to visit in April, and of the 5 videos on Florence, AL I have not seen 1 African American depicted in the RUclips video I have looked at. And, at 2 min and 2 seconds of this one there is a musician with a confederate soldier cap on. Look I do not want any trouble, so please be honest with me. Should I just be staying near my hotel? Don't be afraid to be honest, that is what I like about southerners, they will let you know what is up.
Don't let the video fool you, I've lived here all my life. It sucks... extremely boring. Not a single place open to eat past midnight except the waffle house, taco bell or krystals. If you like horribly humid, hot weather, mosquitoes and nothing to do, move here.
