Ikr in Colorado we literally only have petco, and if you want a god pet shop you have to drive pretty far to go to one.
I just got my bearded dragon here last weekend I had no idea about this video I just know this is the best local place to go to for anything, you can tell they care so much about their animals and my beardie has been so happy with its enclosure and food and he’s sooooo chill even though he’s so young :)

It always amazes me too see blue tongues sold in pet stores when I have them running around and breeding in my back yard and knowing how mad they can get, their bite can really hurt
When raised in captivity they can be quite relaxed. I also imagine you live in Australia and the locality is Indonesian blue tongue(at least that seems to be the case with most who see them in the wild), which are considerably more nervous and difficult to tame than other localities kept as pets.
@@theprocess4336 yes I live in Australia 🇦🇺 they can be scary and mean, we have had too have someone come in and relocate them for their safety and the dogs and ours

@17:15 .... Leopard geckos are not nocturnal they are crepuscular which means that they are most active during dawn and dusk. Also a 12X12 enclosure is not recommended for an adult or even a juvenile Leopard Gecko they should have a minimum of 20 gallon tank if you want them to thrive and they do use all of the floor space that is given to them. It is absolutely untrue that they only use a small crevice of space. I have Leos and they most definitely use all of the space that is given to them DAILY.........
I 100% agree. I have my leopard gecko in a 40 gal, and she uses up the space. Right now she's brumating so she's staying on the colder end of the tank, but if they are given the opportunity to explore, they will. Just make sure there's a right amount of clutter, the temperature gradient is appropriate, etc. In a small 12x12, it's hard for leopard geckos to self regulate their temperature because there's really no room for a cold side, so if the leopard gecko feels too hot, there's really no place for them to escape to. Which means the temperature gradient isn't sufficient, neither is the space provided. It's such a myth that leopard geckos only use a small amount of space.
I completely agree, especially from the research that I have done about them even though I’ve never kept them and have barely any experience with keeping reptiles as pets. But I’m usually able to pick up and stuff of these animals very quickly took me a little bit to figure out the lighting and stuff.
This pet store is freaking amazing I love their commitment to Animal Care and the knowledge that they give to people making sure the animal comes first

The Brachypelma hamorii needs a terrestrial enclosure with just a bit more roaming space because it is an adult (however the enclosure it is in would be great for an arboreal species who likes to climb, or a smaller terrestrial species). In nature sand would be okay because typically you'd find them burrowed under a large rock. however this sand needs to be mixed with coco fiber or a safe soil mix. without this it is much more difficult to burrow. *friendly advice* hope this helps.

Lol... I know exactly who he was talking about with domesticating their local day gecko population! He's an absolute legend in the reptile hobby!! His wife and kids are Amazing as well and Im positive will carry on in his foot steps!!
We had one place in Edinburgh ( Scotland 🏴) was brilliant was fish , reptiles, amphibians and all the equipment. Their knowledge was up there and they cared for the animals she well. You could phone up anytime for advice aswell . I think they moved but I don’t know where , got my python , bearded dragon and a wee corn for my daughter. When my daughter got her snake even tho they knew me well they took her thru everything on her own. Top notch xx

I’m surprised nobody is commenting on the leopard gecko bit. Keeping them in an enclosure that small is cruel. Yes, they are hardy. Yes, they will survive. But what kind of life is that? They said “bigger is better”…..no, bigger is an absolute REQUIREMENT!! Unbelievable. So much cool stuff in this video, but so much of it just made me cringe. Man….

Agreed. And there isn't a "chocolate" morph for leos either. That was an actual albino, but since they don't know which one, totally pet quality. Not chocolate albino or such.

Definitely research if you plan to get one! Those guys should be in a 20 gallon minimum for a standard-sized one. That rack, with those size enclosures would not be recommended by any proper, long-term, leo caretaker.

@@christisnburton8714 they can survive in them. Obviously they want smaller habitats to keep space in the store. They would probably tell customers to get bigger enclosures.
@@christisnburton8714 you could survive if I forced you to live in a closet with a single lightbulb at the top, a bucket in the corner, and just enough room for you to stretch out as you lay down. Would you agree that this is not enough, however? To avoid being cruel, yes, a bigger enclosure is REQUIRED.

Get you information correct--solomon island eyelash frog do not have live birth. they lay eggs and the tadpole stage is completed in the egg and hatch fully formed. in 6-8 weeks

Well said! I tell that to my friends everyday. Saving is good but investing is much better, I used to think saving money would benefit me but I realized that I was wrong, saving is just keeping it to spend later. Now I’d rather invest than save

I have been researching on ways to actually make bigger profits from the crypto and stock market but from every result it’s very obvious that you need the help of a professional to actually make good profits from the market and I would really love to get a good financial expert

There are platforms where you can invest and they trade your money. Then pay you profit either weekly or monthly. Investing isn’t as hard as it used to be

theyve got a couple of things to work on like those leos defidently need a larger enclosure and they shouldnt really be feeding pinkys to most of those animals or life rodents in general, just not ethical like that. Super cool store tho

A Central American boa almost never reaches 6 feet unless it's a female. Those Centrals just weren't socialized as babies, most of them are very sweet and just as adaptable to handling as Colombians, ball pythons etc.

Cornufer (Ceratobatrachus) Guentheri don't have live birth they do lay eggs on moist soil instead of in water so the babies hatch as little frogs on land instead of tadpoles in water. Great species of frog .
