I like brewing with rice! One workaround to the cooking the rice - use a box of minute rice - you can dump it straight into the mash, don't even have to mill it!
Great video! 2 beers at once, that’s some multitasking right there! I’ve done a few rice beers and like you I make my rice the night before but leave water in there so as the rice absorbs it it doesn’t clump up like yours did, that and that way the rice won’t absorb more water from your mash, I learned that the first time I used rice. Sorachi ace is a great hop for that beer. Cheers!
👏 👏two beers at the same time! Awesome, Sarah! That would make me nuts. I am about to brew my Irish Stout but my recipe uses Crystal 80 and a wee bit of black malt along with the roasted barley and flaked barley. Great video! Reminds me of a pianist playing on two pianos at the same time😂.
Probably Flora will provide us another video with tasting these beers and so on, but I would love to know more about this japanese lager and her impressions about mashing cooked rice. I've tried a similar recipe once and my efficiency was awful! Still not sure what I've done worng... Thanks for sharing your brew day! Cheers!

Great seeing you giving Man Man such big props! 👍🏼🍻
The larger the grain bags/equipment get, the tinier you look :)
I appreciate the nod of respect to Irish history
I would like to see a dog biscuit tutorial using spent grains 😁
Awesome as always. I can’t wait to see how they came out. Keep on rocking.
Nice work! Just did a double brew day myself, makes things more interesting, that’s for sure !
Yeah, seems really intense. Well done.
Great video! The Japanese lager sounds delish so I'm sure I'll be brewing that one fairly soon.
Awesome 2 for 1! 😍

Wow two brews at the same time. Very impressive. I would have ended up with a Japanese Stout and a Irish Lager

We literally have the same pallet.
Did you pre-cook the rice, is that why it was goopy? Recipe says flaked rice…
Still brewing!?!?!
Why do you use closed system for boil ? Aren´t you scare of DMS ?
Hello, what application do you use to make your beer?
why is the rice in such a form?
That conical FV is awesome. What is it? What’s the fan thing on the back?
