- Episode 19 of my Wirral to Bramley Moore Dock by drone videos.
Here is a video of a flight from Wirral to the Everton Stadium at Bramley Moore Dock.
This flight helps us to see alot more of the West Stand Plaza.
I hope you enjoy the video.

How fitting to see Goodison in the background directly above the new stadium due to the angle of approach!
These are all great! Thank you for doing this......especially for those that can't see it in person!!
Brilliant as usual! It's interesting to see how well the water-effect flags/stones on the East side (obviously not visible in this video) replicate the reflection of the water from the river and dock in the windows on the West and South Stands. I wasn't sure it'd work so well but it does and I reckon it'll look even better when it rains! 🤔😁
This is going to be one of the best stadiums in Europe. Fantastic location etc but the finishing touches they are putting into it will take it above most. Thanks Nick .
A nice little stadium, and no smell from next door.
@@StephenParker-qs9de Smell from analfield will be a thing of the past. For us at least.
Lovely weather for early January Nick 😉.
Another great piece of work.
Hi Nick
You can see the cladding from about 1:40 into the video. I totally understand your concerns, also the cladding looks fantastic and again your professional video presentation is boss
How cool to see the stena line. Looks nice day windy early on. Love these videos breaks uo the day ton
Hi nick, well iade it to see the stadium today. Come from New Zealand. Man the stadium was so much bigger in real life. Amazing guy on the gate who let me take a neat photo. Would like to attend a game there one day.
Doesn't matter how long the video is Nick there always good 👍 UTFT 😊
Nick if i get the chance to come to Bramley Moor to see Everton you and Barry are definitely on my list of cool people I'd like to have a beer with you two have done awesome work with these posts 😎👍
Another great 👍 vid mate. Thanks for doing this for us all. From Dave the Essex Toffee
Another great update Nick
Hi Nick, belated Birthday wishes, mine was the next day. I noticed on your latest video that the two ends of the west plaza still have gaps in the concrete. When you focused in on the right cladding it looked like window frames had been installed. Thanks so much for all your updates. It's a great archive to have. Many thanks. Stephen.
Stephen: the brick-cladding is due to be placed in front of those gaps. The frames you can see are not for windows but paneling that will be inserted on the inside so that people under the mezzanine are not looking at the back of the concrete wall and brick facade sections. Those gaps are arches that carry the mezzanine front loading over the old Dock Walls and the Granite Coping Stones.
Thanks for that David.
@@StephenHarland You're welcome.
I was a bit disappointed you didn't tell us the date again at the end like you usually do, Nick. I was looking forward to that 🤣 Good video again even if it was shorter than you wanted.
😂
Once it's up, it'll be ace seeing it lit up at night with neon and laser lights and being reflected by the river.
Nice one Nick better to be safe
Good video
Hi nick having visited bramley moore 2day
Will be plans to regenerate area from costco to stadium
Looks amazing. Does anyone know if the tourist ferry from Pier Head passes by the new ground please? Our 11 year old grandsons first visit to Goodison Park in a week or so and also want to take in the new ground. Seeing it from the Mersey would be quite special. COYB
It’s part of the tour now, enjoy 🙏
@@davehoman761 great! thank you.
@@glennross2052 If you have a Merseyside bus pass in works on the ferry tour. Just show your pass and ask for a single to Seacombe and they will give you a ticket for £0. 0p, At Seacombe show that ticket and ask for a single back to Liverpool.
It's legit but you are supposed to get off at Seacome and get the next one back. In practice no one checks the tickets if you stay on. There's a decent café at Seacombe.
The route is; Pier Head and past the northern docks to the stadium and then across to Seacombe and back to the Pier Head. It takes about 50 mins.
@@williamwatson228 Good man. Sadly, we are from out of town and don't get to the mecca too often. I recall my first trip to GP so well and want to make a memory for the boy. Thank you!
@@davehoman761 we took the ferry today and it was just perfect. Thanks again.
Hi did eney army personnel sail from Liverpool docks
Another great video Nick 👍keep the excellent work going, I asked earlier on, but unless I have missed it, does anyone know the size of the pitch area and how will it compare to Goodison and other pitches in the premier league ?
Kevin: I can't enter a direct hyperlink here as YT will delete it and ban me for 24 hrs (I learned that the hard way, early days) but you can access all the 2023/2024 Premier League ground pitch area sizes if you enter the following in your Internet Browser:
1) "footballfancast"
2) "premier league stadiums pitch sizes"
Now all you need know is that although the pitch area of BMD is not directly stated in the plans, a rough measurement from drawings suggests the whole area is at about 75m x 113m (7571 sqm). The drawings suggest that the pitch itself, however, is expected to be at about 67m x 105m.
Kevin: My previous reply comment to your Q (sent about 6hrs ago) seems to have disappeared or at least not able to be opened here. It may be because I gave a hint to how to browse for the "Premier League Stadium Pitch Sizes" for comparison, which YT object to. I can tell you that the exact pitch area is not declared in the plans but extrapolating from the drawings in the plans, the pitch area is about 75m x 112m (8400 sqm) and the pitch itself about 68m x 105m (7140 sqm) which, not surprisingly, is what the FIFA recommendation is.
Hi Nick. Great vid as usual. Did you give any more thought to doing the site of Bellfield training ground ? i emailed you a while back about it . ta.
👍👍
I didn't know drones had that range
Most of the new ones can have around a 19 mile range in perfect conditions. That's nothing on this video compared to what they can do haha. But as Nick stated you always have to take the conditions and battery into consideration.
Recently I've ad problems with wind😅
Cut out the dairy products mate.
Lactose intolerance is no joke😉
I recommend rennies 😂😂
No more sprouts and beans then!!😅
Me too mate 🤣. Someone said it's because I'm always droning on....
Has there been any progress on laying the Everton Way and is it now going to cover the length of the south stand
Not started yet, they need to finish the south stand first.
Jaggy: it'll be a little while yet before they start laying The Everton Way. There are more tree pits to be dug at the SE corner, then likewise at the SW corner, as it will mirror-image that at the SE corner. Then they have to install arched wind baffles between the nelson Dock barrier and the bases of the steels of the South Stand, in line with each of those steels. They still have quite a bit of finishing off to do on the 'coving' and paneling of the South Stand window and Viewing Gallery, as well, all of which requires heavy equipment to be tracking back and forth on the Southern Concourse. They'll only start laying The Everton Way once there is no longer a need for heavy equipment to be using that area. It would be too PR-dangerous and potentially expensive to damage people's stones.
@davidbadcock2225 cheers for the reply, common sense really but thanks for taking the time to explain
There our ground in back ground
Nice shot of all ‘three’ of our stadiums. 140 years of Everton history.
6th "JANUARY" 2024??? wow Nick You'll be surprized how much work done Nick heh heh you + your DATES?
Meant made it sorry.
Nick, I said this to Craig the other day... You drone guys really need to talk between yourselves because you're all posting the same stuff all the time, within an hour of each other. You, Kev and Craig are all doing it. You watch one video, and then the next two come along straight away and exactly the same. You'll never grow your channels this way. Maybe get round and cover some other grounds across the country in detail. You'll get lots more subscribers.
Who else would like their football club shown on this channel?
Thanks mate but, with respect, why don’t you just watch one channel? 😂… Also, have you seen how many grounds and other places I have covered?
@@misterdroneuk Quite. Bizarre comment and devoid of personal responsibility or choice. I didn't learn anything about the stadium from this particular video as the wind prevented your chance to get directly over the work but that's not your fault. I quite enjoyed the ferry flyover and I was curious to see if there would be any consequence (dirty camera lens) of flying almost directly over the dirty diesel exhaust from the funnel. It was interesting about the time left data and the actual amount you required in the wind at that time.
@@davidbadcock2225 thanks David 👍🏻
Seriously..? Mr Drone does a number of other grounds/locations and I've never watched any of them because I'm not in the least bit interested in them. I'm interested in Everton Football Club's new stadium at BMD, same as every other Blue who tunes in to this site. Don't be asking others if they want their ground on this site. Let them get their own fella with a drone to do a video. Tara.
work not progress
Still does not impress me Nick mate
Yeah, you're still the only person to think it's "ugly". No accounting for taste...
