@ m e sur: of course. What GD fan doesn't. Trouble is this group seems to playing for those older folks who an no longer sway as quickly (I know because I'm at least old enough to know). But if find you can't quite move fast enough with JRAD, you'll need to try some other tribute bands. For instance, you will find Grateful Shred right up your alley You might think you've truly reversed time - they are closest to the original Jerry feel, as lots have observed. And don't sleep on any of the fine tribute bands. But I digress. To me this particular iteration of GD leaves a lot to desire by comparison, especially, imo, of the presence of a couple of originals. For them, that was ten, this is now, sadly.
She escaped from a mental hospital just in time to get to this show. They put her away after a 1968 festival where she took way too many shrooms, and acid. If you skip to the end of this video, you can see her get carried off by police, and staff members of the 'Sleepy time' rehab center for hippy's that never got clean from the summer of love era.
Incredible to see this band evolve from this fine rendition to the absolutely stellar versions on their last most recent tour. Mayer was always good but his playing over the last five years has ascended to new unbelievable heights as has the rest of the band.
I AGREE😂❤ THANK YOU BOB WIER FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR US FANS,AND FOR BRINGING JOHN MAYER TO THE PLACE WHERE HE GOT ON THE BUS.... RIGHTEOUS! WHEN CAN WE PURCHASE LIVE SHOWS ON DVD OF DEAD & COMPANY?? 😊

My sister in law loves John Mayer. I always told her he was a pop tool. It takes a big man to admit he's wrong. Well, I'm a big man because I say he's totally fucking awesome!
Did the same to my buddy. He went to see Mayer at a free show in Atlanta back before he was famous and I've always given him shit for it. And gave him a ton of crap when they announced Dead and Co. Well I stopped when I saw them in Atlanta that first tour they did. I always knew he was a great guitarist but damn he blew me away that night
First time I saw John and appreciated him was an Austin City Limits with Double Trouble. They did a whole SRV set and it was 🔥! And then the interviews with Tommy and Chris about how he made them feel 🤯😮 Been a fan ever since.
He isn't a kid anymore and has set aside his childish ways. And any of that singular bad personality traits that were left evaporated when he truly became invested in the Dead and Co. He is part of that gestalt that these dudes exhibit. And who said there isn't any magic in the world?!?! Looks pretty fucking magical to me 😁
Mayer sounds great with these guys, so much space to explore and time to really improvise. Hopefully he’ll continue in that direction it suits him well. A lot of cats can shred these days but being able to play music like this…a lot of pacing, patience, and LISTENING is required

Me and a buddy flew out from California for 2021. Good times! How about that rain on night one!? Night two we made it up to 5th row center! 🍄⚡️🙃 I found a sweet picture online of night two as the sun was setting and had it made into a 1,000 piece puzzle. It’s framed and proudly hanging in my house for life! Can’t wait for the final tour! My girlfriend and our 2 year old daughter have tickets to all three nights in San Francisco! Kinda bummed to hear this morning that Billy is going to be sitting out this last tour.😩 Oh well, we will stay grateful and make the most of it!! 🎶💃🎉🌉

OK, your opinion, so that's fine, and Mayer's a fine guitarist, too, but for me the Help is way too slow, there's hardly any video of Bobby. In my opinion, the version from the actual Grateful Dead on One from the Vault is much better (the bootleg -- Make believe Ballroom -- is even better, as it it has Bill Graham's fun band introduction at the start).
Ils auraient pu trouver pire comme remplaçants. John Oteil rendent parfaitement hommage à leurs prédécesseurs...tout en apportant avec beaucoup de justesse leurs créativités personnelles. Le Dead n'en finira pas de m'impressionner !!
I so wanted to hate John when he signed on with Dead & Co. I was wrong. He CAN handle the music. I like to say he’s not replacing, he’s just filling in til Jerry gets back.
Yeah, started listening to the dead when I was 10 or 11. Saw them live when I was 13 and 15. I knew that it was working,but.... NOT A GD COVER BAND 4 REAL
That lady's face at the beginning is pure happiness and nostalgia. Makes me smile :D

Slipknot!..on point,Mayer feels it.
one of the best franklin´s of all time
This is beautiful…💙💀⚡️🌹♥️…Thank you…❣️❣️❣️
My first Help>Slip>Frank THANK YOU
Mine was 9/19/90 at MSG then again with Branford on 9/10/91. I'm glad there are some benefits to being old, LOL.
2020 this is needed more than ever, thank u for the distraction!! Bravo!!
...and ever more so!
Is there any more euphoria than when they break into Franklin's Tower? Lovin it!
Check out the euphoria in Boston 1991 when they break into "Fire" from "Slipknot!" insane energy. 9/20/91. Audience goes apeshit.
Whenever I hear help, and then the franklin's transition, I nearly lose my shit 😂😂😂

Beautiful
This is amazing!!! How is this only 36 likes (including mine)??? I am a temporary traveler / stranger to this world.
Exactly!
Because like everything this band does, it's so slow it's fucking painful. Jerry on a nod would played this faster.
I find this extrordinary also - there should be hundreds of thousands!
Mayer speaks Jerry's language.
Most definitely!

Jerry's playing trips me out. It really is unlike anyone else. His note choice alone was wild.
A joyful and brilliant concert!
This has to be my favorite Help/Slip/Frank
it really is good. the slipknot jam is righteous

Need that hat John is wearing
Put it on 1.25 speed and that’s how fast I wish the boys were playing.
Still great!
lovin the organ solo in franklins
Chementi is an alchemist on the keys

This was the zenith of this project
Somebody should go back there and tell John Mayer if he keeps playing around here that he's going to have to stay
Absolutely right, he is deserving for sure....How about some DVD'S of shows to have forever ....
and put on 100 pounds 😅
Jamming!

Love the old lady at 15:50
that’s what it’s all about!
I like the part where they jam
Can't believe they put ads in the middle of these jams. It's ridiculous. Awesome jam though.
I wanted to make these shows so bad but didn’t have the rite kind of phone to buy tickets ! So sorry to not c u my old friend ! 🐰🐇
JRAD IS THE FUTURE
He's got the notes and chords, but he slured the words.❤Who heard "Without love in the dream it will never come true"?😭 But yea awesome guitar
Sweet like sugar,,
Hey does anyone know if that is Vince on keys?
You’re looking at Jeff Chimenti on Keys.
Vince Welnick passed away in 2006
What a dumb place for a commercial 😢

I want to see Derek Trucks play it ...
Couldn’t get Billy Strings, dude is to good a songwriter and doing his own thing. They settled in my book. Not a big J.M. fan.

that tempo is dragggggging
Sounds like they're on lithium .
I can’t stand John Mayer but I gotta say Amen brother
Sounds like you CAN stand him

micky butchering that mellow slipknot pocket....
Close but no cigar.
I feel you haha try Cumberland Blues John does amazing on that one!
Come on, Give Mayer his fucking cigar for that one! At least!
