@abllormacy my baby hair was short at the top and barely had any sides I used softee coconut oil from family dollar and gently twisted her hair like if I was doing locs and now .her hair is so thick and long just keep the hair moisturized

Beautiful hairstyle however this is why our black babies loose so much hair around their crown and edges so esrly when doing styles that is pulling at our young tender babies hair. Much love and we need to educate our babies.

It’s depends . I don’t keep protective hairstyle for long on her hair cuz I notice it break her hair . I have had so many experiences with Jasmine’s hair . Her hair is so fragile and protective hairstyles can damage her hair if kept for long . And some videos are uploaded days after making the hairstyles .

I'm not a hairstylist but I have been doing hair, specifically cornrows and box braids for years. I also learned how to plait and how to do barrette styles very early, around 5 years old. Her hair is cute but definitely too long for a 3 year old sit. I had anxiety watching it.
Mz Vee so she can sit and watch tv instead? Taking 3 hrs of her day is no big deal. She still has 6 days and 21 hrs left to play . Thanks for coming through 😘

Mom and Jas no problem. I found that the fluffy passion twist hair that comes in the big pack works the best. Hopefully you can get your hands on that. Cost effective and the bulk will last for multiple hairstyles. I hope that helps. 😘😘

My daughter looked just like this, but once I started getting it braided her hair would grow but it would break terribly. Now we have been braid free for almost a year. She now has all her edges back and her hair is actually growing back.
Did you leave the braids for long ? Cuz that’s one of the things which can caused serious breakage
