Hi Frank, check out this page on our website that outlines tips on what to do when your blower won’t turn: www.pdblowers.com/faqs/my-blower-wont-turn-what-should-i-do/
The manual says to fill to the halfway point when the unit is at rest. However at that level when the unit is starting up you may not be able to see any oil in the sight glass. Our standard practice is to fill to approximately 3/4 of the sight glass so that when the unit is starting up you will still be able to see some oil in the sight glass.
@@pdblowers Thanks for the expert advice! I just changed and filled 1/2 way I’ll definitely add a bit more. Another question I have out of curiosity, would the vent blow out any excess in the case of overfill?
Great video
I have a blower but for some reason the shaft and pulley don’t want to move anymore. Could you show how to fix this? Seems like it is locked up

My Sutorbilt blower has a sight glass. What level would I fill it to? 1/4, 1/2, 3/4?
