Danielle Donaldson I have fallen in love with it in 2020 but I want a piano replacement as well!! If this had 76 keys semi weighted I would grab it!!!! I also have a full DAW home studio but I cannot be arsed switching on the PC, INTERFACE, SPEAKERS, SYNTH, loading the software and sample libraries, sorting driver issues, midi issues, OS compatibility issues. This just looks SO EASY 😍🥳😎. All the other synths I see are aimed at peeps who like to press buttons a lot instead of actually playing real instruments 😆
Come ooooon!!!!! The piano sound is not rich. The keyboard is a bang for the buck. Nonetheless we should avoid praising the weaknesses of the unit. The pads and synths are amazing. There are some nice organs and epianos too
@NevadaMusicUK I bought one and find that in particular, for me, being able to combine 4 different sounds at once is pretty cool. To be able to record 8 tracks, though really 16 tracks and then 16 virtual tracks along with that, is also a big plus. Though, I find that my Yamaha DGX-625 has a much better Grand Piano sound, the crispness of the Juno-Gi, the massive amounts of sounds and effects keep me going back to the Juno. I did wish that it was available in a 88-key format though.
seing what you get with this keyboard its a great buy, you get a gt-10 kinda, an audio interface, a frickin awesome synth and a looper what more could you ask for in such a small package
@webncyber The synth engine in the Juno-G is from the old Fantom X that was discontinued years ago. It doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the Fantom G engine in the Juno-Gi. The Juno-Gi is an upgrade from the discontinued Juno-G.
It's Hilarious how he calmly talks about it and then breaks out with some very popular dance music like we wouldn't get excited a bit by hearing it, Hahaha!
@sbvikings30 I have the Motif XS and I think that sounds more realistic for guitar sounds, but I demoed the Juno Gi today and I must say its synth sounds are absolutely kickass...the best, fattest sound I have heard from a hardware synthesizer....classic Roland! A must-have for me now.
@derek4ur Absolutely, you can hear a massive difference between the Roland's acoustic guitar samples, and Korg's samples. The Kronos has the best of the best when it comes to velocity sensitive keys. And the acoustic guitar samples are great on the Kronos, with a wide velocity range. Playing softly on the Kronos is great, they've taken full advantage of the RH3 keybed.
Can you sing through the juno mix the vox levels and use it like a vox fx processor also during live shows plus be able to use the keyboard sounds? That would be cool then I wouldn't need a separate vocal fx processor.
My Juno G display started misbehaving immediately after the warranty period (just after one year) and searched for Juno G Display problems in youtube and found lot of similar result. Do not know whether Gi has an updated display. Roland should not have compromised in its quality. I was told the sampler is missing in Juno Gi for a elevated cost.
@sbvikings30 Yes, very much agree. I've done recordings of me playing a guitar lick to the Dead Island Piano Themesong and my brother, who plays guitar, bass, and is a pro with midi and sound synthesizing thought it was a friend of mine playing on his guitar. Definitely awesome!
Hello - i have a big problem and i can't find the solution on the Gi - how can i switch the function on which shows on the keyboard display which chord or note i am paying. it would be very very useful. many thanks
hello, could somebody help me? This is what I want to do: In my juno-gi, basically I need to change from one tone to another without cutting the sound. I mean.. is it possible that while I`m holding down a key with a sound, I could switch to another kind of sound and keep listening to the first one until I release the key?
i still use it for horns but I have a kuzeil PC3X at home, and I use the PC4 playing out. I don't think much of the organ sounds at all. If I were creating new dance music or working as a DJ this would be perfect.
Hi, i own a Roland Juno G and would like to know what the main differences are with the Gi. Besides the difference in sequencing capabilities what are the key differences between the two boards?
@sudiptas57 hey, if you are looking to work in midi sequencer Gi will not work for you because you can' t do multitubler 16 track midi patch which is so stupid by roland to do that, i both it week ago and I am thinking to return it because there is no point of using it in any sequencer software if I am not going to be able to use the Gi sounds. you can just use 4 midi track patches, the good thing is the sounds are good and built in audio interface makes it convenient
@zeksouza1 So get something else then. Get a real cheap MIDI controller with sliders and knobs, and a DAW like Sonar X1, and you can do everything and more that the Gi does.
I really want one, I have never been in love with a musical instrument so much!!!!!!

This synth a real gem, it’s extremely versatile.
I'm glad my dad introduced me to the world of music and this video helped me to get familiar with this amazing keyboard!
If the sound engine is new it can have the same presets! And probably better sounds as well.
Those synth sounds, freaking hell, just wow
Wow 808 amazing sound. Luke Edwards is awesome!

Great work.. Sir..

I went from firmware version 1.01 to the latest 1.11 and got a lot of fixes. I think the sounds are better and the recorder got some fixes as well.
Just wish it got an OS update though with MIDI sequencing, arp editing and sampling like Juno-G.
@NevadaMusicUK Still waiting for it to arrive. Should be here next week.
@webncyber The synth engine in the Juno-G is from the old Fantom X that was discontinued years ago. It doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the Fantom G engine in the Juno-Gi. The Juno-Gi is an upgrade from the discontinued Juno-G.
Wow! I never knew Luke used to be with Roland
same here..first time i saw him demonstrating for korg.
Old or new, Juno I love you.
It's Hilarious how he calmly talks about it and then breaks out with some very popular dance music like we wouldn't get excited a bit by hearing it, Hahaha!
Mind blown!

most realistic guitar sound i have ever heard
Dam good thing, so impressed I bought one
I use it with My Kurzweil PC3X. Excellent for horns alone!
@hellfirebeats thx for the tip mate i was considering this a good buy....

@philbie000 What features do you like on the Gi?
Hi, would I be getting essentially the same thing with a Juno G? I’m looking to score a game I’m working on and I really like Roland’s string sounds
I didn't know that luke has demo presentor of roland too.. i thought his from korg..
thanks
Hello - i have a big problem and i can't find the solution on the Gi - how can i switch the function on which shows on the keyboard display which chord or note i am paying. it would be very very useful. many thanks

It’s not. It sucks

Bought 14 years later ;)
Hi,
i own a Roland Juno G and would like to know what the main differences are with the Gi. Besides the difference in sequencing capabilities what are the key differences between the two boards?
Does the 1.11 update have more drum patterns?
Hey ivmusicman, what kind of demo are you thinking about?
part starts at 2:35 is awrsome!
mattis09 that's got me good.
I'm wondering wether to get this or a Roland Ax

what's the difference between it & Juno di ?
no idea
holy shit this is awesome !!! im going to sell my jackson rr1 guitar and buy this Juno
It didn’t have the sequencer in the G sadly
juno gi keyboard doesn't have a sequencer. That's its main disadvantage.
kevintf2....... proper musicians don’t need sequencers 😁
@@tronlady1 yeah agree..but not everything can be done with live musicians.. If you need a different sound you ll need it for sure
THIS OR THE JUNO STAGE ?
I have a Juno Gi, how can I turn the "metronome on" and get it to give me a count in before the measures start?
Thanks a bunch! Do you have a good teaching on it recording bouncing track mode?
+Sheraton Walls is $350 a good price
Sheraton Walls pappu kathat
Jade Pascual pappu kathat

Why the heck is Korg Kronos brought into discussion here? This is $1000, the Kronos is $3000; they are just not playing in the same leagues at all.
10:44 I WANT THAT EXPANSIONS :D
@zeksouza1
So get something else then. Get a real cheap MIDI controller with sliders and knobs, and a DAW like Sonar X1, and you can do everything and more that the Gi does.
