I rode the 3-door double-decker bus in Singapore...

Welcome onboard the double-decker bus, fitted with 3 doors and 2 staircases! Introduced since January 2021, these buses serve an important role in allowing smoother commuter flow when boarding and alighting. There are about 100 of them (of which 50 of them are from each of 2 tenderers) as of today.
These buses are installed with Passenger Information Display Systems (PIDS) and fitted with USB charging ports, as well as 2 wheelchair bays.

My school to my house area got bus services 106 and 189 which both got MAN A95 3-doors, I like how fast crowds are cleared on these buses especially during peak hours!

Always caught the Enviro 500 3 Door on 23 and 969 and I once caught the A95 3 Door on 118

Feel that the ADL 3 Door is a better design. It’s more efficient, with a higher capacity. The Man has weird designs I.e. weird side facing seats on the upper deck.

The reason why you’ll never see this in the UK is that you’ll have some yobs ruining it for everyone so there’s no point investing in infrastructure like this

Technically Singapore only does this to contain congestion as it's so dense and the bus system is used more rapidly than in Britain so they have to invest in 2/3 doors usually the 2nd and 3rd door is for alighting and the first door is entering so everyone can board and exit at the same time
