what happen if you change hero power before activating the thorim hero power? does the minion disappear or you get the minion freely?
The HP is already in a play so once you spend 65 gold the 7-star minion unlocks in your hand. The same goes to Faelin when you are before level 6 tavern and change HP :)

Is putting it further back really the best way to use it? He missed out on a ton of stats. I feel like 2nd or 3rd would be better
Putting it second or third means he can't reborn both leeroys, which are better vs Divine Shield. More stats would be more exciting/satisfying, but unfortunately what he did was more consistent

He is likely referring to the dragon/Naga unit with spellcraft: trigger a battlecry to use on tempest
