Hello Guys,
Avakhung International Border Checkpost, also known as Avankhu in Phek district of Nagaland, is an International Border Checkpost on India-Myanmar barrier and a highway is being developed as part of the Bharatmala project
In this video, I have shared my experience of traveling to our beautiful state of Nagaland in North East India. I had amazing experiences in Nagaland & now I'm going to share these experiences in the form vlogs. I hope you will enjoy these vlogs of my Nagaland. Nagaland is also called “ The Land of Last Head Hunters”
Nagaland is a landlocked state in the northeastern region of India. It is bordered by the Indian states of Arunachal Pradesh to the north, Assam to the west, Manipur to the south and the Sagaing Region of Myanmar to the east. Its capital city is Kohima and its largest city is Dimapur.
Nagaland became the 16th state of India on 1 December 1963. It is home to a rich variety of natural, cultural and environmental resources.

Very beautiful and nice people are Naga people. We learned that there are 16 tribes for the first time . They are simple and very lovely people. Happiness is the sole criterion of life and these Naga people come with flying colours in this aspects. Thank you Dipansu for introducing Naga people to us. Please convey my respect to King of the village.
North Indians living in Nagaland are treated like second-class citizens. NAGA don't pay any tax still bark and north Indians. Whereas all the development is done the by people of north India and the rest of the country paying tax of their hard-earned money
I am 78, non-stop viewer of your videos since 2020.Your extraordinary approach in video making exposing rural environment and people within have very specially attracted me. Vedio on Nagaland is superb. I read a book on original living of one particular Naga tribe published during1957 but the Nagaland to which you introduced us is overwheming. My all good wishes to you to your sincerety and love for work and people.

Correction: some tribes does not follow hereditary kingship.. like Ao, Angami...
But It's quite understandable that they are unaware of that.. many nagas including me thought that every tribe follow hereditary kingship..

Very interesting way of life. We must learn a lot from them. They are preserving the whole eco system in a sustainable way. What a cute school. One thing the children learn better because the teacher has only 5 or 6 students to teach. Thanks for showing this place. Please wish them on our behalf and tell them we appreciate their way of life and how they take the responsibility also. I feel very happy to see such a life at this moment.👍

It's so happy to know that in Nagaland the public schools are run by state government. In our Telangana state, public schools are run by local bodies I.e Zilla parishad.
