This video was really helpful. The sales associates from Taiwan are really helpful. Last summer, I went to Taiwan. I went to a 711 to buy some snacks for later. I asked the lady at the front if I could use the bathroom and she said yes. I think it was the employees bathroom. Scary thing happen to me as I was leaving. I couldn't open the door. I started to yell help and nobody came. But then again I was saying this in Japanese. The lady came in and said that I had to pull the door and not push it. Her English was good. She gave me a free strawberry milk and this is why they are very helpful. This video made me want to go back to Taiwan.
Oh I can't imagine the terror you must felt at that moment.. that stomach-sinking feeling and your head playing all the potential scenarios 😱 I hope you do once again visit Taiwan! Just make sure try both pulling and pushing the bathroom doors!
I was an exchange student in Taiwan (Tainan specifically) last year, and something I miss a lot after coming back to the US is how convenient 7/11 in Taiwan is!! I remember my friends and I would sometimes just sit in 7/11 to hang out after school... I can't wait to go back and eat all the yummy 7/11 food I've been missing!
I'm in Taiwan to study for 2 years, sometimes I felt difficult when go to the convenience store, the staffs can not speak English even simple sentences, but most of 7-11 employees can, that's why I usually chose 7-11 instead others. But the machine you show in video is in Chinese too, I can not understand what it show, so, how can I use???
yes. you could pay your bills and buy trashbags at 7-eleven. only thing I don't like is how the ATM deducts NTD$15 when you withdraw cash. no need to do that.

Why do you expect people in Taiwan to speak English....Taiwan is not English-speaking. If you live there, you should learn Chinese...
"What's your favorite part of working here?" 《...讓我想一下... 》 *secretly hates her job with a passion*
