Unfortunately when Preston Tucker purchase Franklin, or “Aircooled Motors,” he dropped the military contracts which was like 65% of what Franklin made. When the Tucker 48 failed, it hurt Franklin Engines. They’re great engines though! Tight tolerances and it runs so smooth!
I have always loved the maule's. I remember the early years when they would fly them out of the hangar!

Dustin what year is your Maule ? Sounds like you got the 210 hp Franklin engine
