About the Guide to Flourishing - Mini Meditations for Kids:
Mindfulness is an important theme in 'The Paper Girls Show'. Together with "Making" and "Mistakes", they create the "3 M's of The Paper Girls Show", which serve as the series' pillars. "Make things Mindfully - don't sweat your Mistakes", as our mantra goes!
The goal of this series is to help guide children through mindful breathing techniques, visualizations, and positive affirmations to self-soothe and use throughout the day when needed.
The series has been developed in conjunction with Tara Segree, an experienced educator and mindfulness practitioner whose work has positively impacted the lives of many children across the globe. In her 17+ year career in education, Tara has seen firsthand the daily anxiety that impacts students of all ages and believes that if we can teach children to calm themselves, we can help provide them with the tools to respond to challenges of life with a more proactive outlook.
