- Could this be the best high wing plane on the market?
I fly mine with a 4s 2200mAh battery using a Spektrum NX10.

Hi, great chanel. I'm looking to get my 3rd RC plane after learning to fly with the arrows pioneer, then moving onto the arrows prodigy. Would you recommend the bigfoot over all the other bush style planes? I really like the look of the tundra aswell.

Thanks for commenting! Arrows Bigfoot is one of the best bush planes and a plane you can grow with so highly recommended. The new Tundra V3 is also great but overall I like the Bigfoot better.

Curious on long term flying with the 4S. Was searching data on that motor for max WATTS.. Not much info on the Arrows brand motor, but there is an identical FMS motor (3536 850kv) that can only handle 350Watts.. The 4S configuration produces over 500w.. Could, be the Arrows motor isn't the same as the FMS motor.. Just wondering if I'll cook the motor with a 4s...
So far mine is good and I've done many flights. The best two best things to do if you want to try it is to; 1. Push it 100% in short bursts. 2. After a five minut flight check motor temp by touching it. If it is hot to the touch you have pushed it a bit to much.
I have pushed the FMS 3136/1200KV from the Ranger 1220 with an 11x5.5 prop with 4s and it gets very hot when I push it like crazy so that smaller motor and the poor venting on the Ranger is a no no for 4s. In comparison the Bigfoot is beefier and also cooling is better on the Bigfoot.

For gentle, gyro flying how does the Bigfoot compare to the 1.4m FMS Kingfisher? Build and reliability are important to me.
I would look at the FMS Super Cub 1.3 as it gets kinda the best out of both.

Great flight! I‘m doing these kind of things with my UMX TT Evo so far only 😅. I was also considering to buy either the Bigfoot or PA-18, with a slight preference towards the Bigfoot. My only concerns were these rock hard tires and the missing wing tube. Now, the latter obviously isn‘t needed 😂. As you have the two of them: would the tires of the PA-18 fit the Bigfoot? Are these significantly heavier?
Thanks! There's a wing tube in the Bigfoot. I've tried heavier wheels on my Bigfoot and it works fine. Turbo Timber wheels would be a good and light option.
What are settings for flaps? Do you also fly at 100% rates?
100% rate and about 40% expo. 20% elevator mix for full flaps.
