Was my first thought seeing the thumbnail lol Uzumaki is a great way to get your subconscious mind stirring with disturbing images. Especially once you've taken psychedelics. Sorry to be so off topic but does someone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my password. I would love any help you can offer me
@Joel Kasen thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Nice! I hope you consider doing more GN must reads. I've watched Locke and Key and had no idea it was a GN series; thanks for sharing this, I'm going to pick this up to read.
Thanks for sharing!!! I really like how you presented each book and how you elaborated on each without spoiling!!! Also, since i am getting these for Christmas, could you do a series review on American Vampire?? Like, a spoilers review on each one?? If you could, that would be amazing and would make my day!!!! 😎
+Impression Blend one shot "Cut" is an interesting read...not particularly long story, but has a nice touch + no sparkly vamps for sure xD and thanks for the video. Sad that you haven't mentioned Sandman here...may be not exactly horror, but the graphic trippy part and some stories make it worth reading (and some parts are really creepy)... And about witches: Coffin Hill - nice art, interesting characters (flashbacks included :) ), pretty nice way to tell the story (like when the author doesn't show you all the things and gives you some bits and pieces and you have to figure out some parts yourself)
Thank you thank you thank you for introducing me to the awesomeness of these horror comics! I've read American Vampire, Revival and Nailbiter since watching this. Love them all. Am forever in your debt. I feel like I've found my comic niche. They are sooo amazing. Also starting Hack/Slash which I recently discovered by Tim Seeley as well.

UGH NAILBITER IS MY FAVORITE COMIC SERIES I'VE EVER READ!! Warren is my favorite character. I've read all of the books and not really happy about the ending. :( IT was really really good dho! MY FAV
Please read Hack/Slash. I don't want to give a premise because that spoils the series. It's very different from other horror comics I have read and it shows. The art style is great, the plot is concrete and the character development is very satisfying. I hope that this suggestion helps. Thank you for your recommendations.
I enjoyed Revival! I've only read the first issue but will definitely reading the other ones soon. I've been wanting to check out Nailbiter, it sounds sooo good!
Luke Guy crossed is DEFINITELY twisted AF! Just when ya think ya could see it all, Crossed will throw in some kinda twisted midget clown zombie donkey show lmao
hoover2001 I’m an unapologetic Garth Ennis fanboy although I know he’s departed from the title, this one...... not so much. Not for me anyway. I can’t really read anything with a lot ( even a little most times) of sexual abuse. Movies too. I just can’t deal with it. No underlying emotional trauma. Just doesnt settle with me easily. So not that you care or are even listening, this is my long winded way of agreeing with you.
The fist time I read this comic book series (especially crossed psychopath) it made sick to the point where I had to take break from it multiple times just convince myself all of this is just in some guy’s twisted imagination 💀
I don't why you said American Vampire would be a hard sell - I think it sounds AWESOME! The concept of each volume taking place in a separate location and time period reminds me a bit of American Horror Story. I think I'll check this series out. :)
+Slice of Mike The thing with American Vampire is the combination of art and gritty story - I can imagine it being a little too much for some people. Check it out, let me know what you think! :)
You got me with Locke & Key! I'm going to recomment it to my boyfriend, he is also a HUGE fan do Lovecraft! And well, I'm going to write down Witches and Nailbiter. Love the Nailbiter cover!
I will definitely check out some of your suggestions. Love horror comics. I wanted to like American Vampire more than I did. It's definitely better than your average vampire fiction. Some suggestions: Afterlife with Archie Rachel rising Sweet Tooth Black Hole
No, I've not read any of those comics, but some sound pretty good and sound like they might make an interesting TV series or limited series, if they'd capture them right. I'm sort of tired of super hero comics, and the TV series just doesn't cut the mustard for me either (Green Arrow, The Flash, etc.). Since I don't read many comics these days, I can't recommend much there, but I am reading a novel, Swan Song, which is a post apocalypse type novel with so far, not too many characters, but has been a great read. The author, McCammon, has a pretty easy to read style.
I definitely prefer these non-mainstream comics to superheroes - the art is more interesting, the stories and characters are better. Thank you for the book suggestion!
Impression Blend Preacher has done these non-superhero comic books well on the small screen. I loved the first season on AMC and they've done the tweaks within the story justice to tie it up better than the presentation was made on paper.
Nailbiter sounds awesomely creepy! I am going to be checking that out after Locke & Key. Thanks for your comic recommendations, I was looking to get into some new series.
Watched this video some time ago and... THANK YOU for recommending Nailbiter!! Haven't finished Locke & Key. Also great. The others are on standby. I'll get to them as soon as I finish GYO by Junji Ito which looks absolutely creepy and awesome. Congrats on your vids and channel (don't know why it's got only 15k subs). Anyway, just wanted to say thank you and say hi.
Recently bought the Locke and Key Complete Collection Slipcase(Haven’t red it yet) Have all of American Vampire(but haven’t read it yet) Have Revival Vol 1(haven’t read it yet) Wytches Vol 1 (Have it and read it an it’s amazing (there’s a new Wytches story in the IMAGE! 30th Anniversary Issues) Nailbiter I have the first 3 Vols (haven’t read any yet but plan to this spooky season. Written by Joshua Williamson and his current comic called DARK RIDE is really really awesome. Check it out!!!
Yay horror graphic novels. I loved the Locke and Key series and American Vampire is amazing. I've read 1 & 2 and I own 3 need to pick it up soon. I added Revival to my TBR. Wytches was different. I can't wait to pick up volume 2. That little girl has the biggest potty mouth. Added Nailbiter to my TBR as well :D Have you read V Wars by Jonathan Mayberry? I own like 6 single issues that I won from goodreads and I need to finally pick it up.
Great video. Glad to see someone else that likes horror comics. Do you know of many more than these? I also liked "The Wake" a lot by Snyder. Super good.
+weglarz I still need to check out _The Wake_. Heard that the ending wasn't great, but I'm still interested. Have you read _Severed_, also by Snyder? It's a pretty interesting horror story.
Okay, so this video is what brought me to your channel and got me to subscribe. Nailbiter and Revival were my two favorite books of recent times and they both finished up in the last few months (unfortunately). I'd love to hear your thoughts on how those two ended if you've read through them. I thought they were a little rushed at the end :( I haven't checked out American Vampire yet so I'll put that on my wishlist on Comixology. Thanks for the recommendation.
Wytches was an amazing suggestion, and now Plan B is making it into a movie! Super excited about that. Also if you guys are wondering what Plan B is, its Brad Pitts production company

I wanna read things based on Halloween, but without much supernatural stuff, just bad things that could happen on/around that night. Anyone have suggestions?
Never seen rural noir? Fargo is rural noir. But the pinnacle of rural noir in film is Night of the Hunter which is an incredibly frightening and beautiful film
You should check out Alan Moore's Swamp Thing, specifically The Curse and Murder of Crows. Also, any Garth Ennis Hellblazer. Friends have recommended Preacher, but I still haven't read.
I havent read any of them, sorry. I've ordered a graphic Novel from EBay called Happy. Looks horrible and one I've read you should read is called Severed. Great video thanks. Video liked!
_Locke and Key_ is one of my favorite graphic novel series. Joe Hill really is following in his father's foot steps.
His novels are really good too! Read _NOS4A2_ earlier this year (really liked it), and currently reading _The Fireman_ which is pretty great so far.
