I didn't think the banded ponytail would look good on my hair because it's only shoulder length. By the time I finished and put the bands on my hair it came out so nice!!! The bands stretched my ponytail and my entire sleek ponytail looks so polished on my shoulder length hair. I'm so glad I found you again! Here's to restarting my healthy natural hair journey! I love that i can take the first anchor ponytail out when I’m home so there’s no tension and without messing up that style. I just put the ponytail holder back.

I was wondering If you could please do a tutorial on what you do prior to braiding, how you maintain both the braids and your natural hair while it is in a protective style and what you do to keep your natural hair from breaking while and after you have taken the braids out. Hey! Happy to be back 😊 I literally put the braids in for the sole purpose of the trip so I only had them in for 2 weeks. In that time I sprayed it a few times with my curls coconut milk or water leave-in spray thingy lol... Prior to it, I did my SheaBiscus Rainforest smoothie treatment and I did a light blow out for my braider. When I took them down, I detangled and moisturised. Put in some chunky twist and wore headwraps for a week to allow my scalp to readjust from the tension as I don't usually wear extensions. That was it! I jumped back into my regular routine after.
I love how simple your style is. My hair is super thick and I could not put it in a smooth ponytail such as yours right out of the shower. Great inspiration to me 🥰

Nat Jo Yes! I started it a year ago as part of my wash day routine I wear it in a low bun or low ponytail for 2 to 3 days and when I take it out to style it's like I blow dried my hair! So wash day is no longer a nightmare. My mother did that to me as a little girl washed my hair grease it up then put it in two ponytails and Done ! I made my hair life hard for no reason 😀😀
