The thoughts you have are also affirmations and words and simply having a thought is not sinful. Prayers themselves are words/affirmations/requests and they are also not sinful. It's similar to if you were to pray to God asking for bad things to happen, that would be sinful, but the praying itself is not. The bible even says ask and you shall receive. It is not wrong to get things you want, especially if you believe they are coming as gifts from God. To me, God gave us the potential to manifest and to use words/affirmations exactly so that we could realize we are powerful/capable and that we can live good worthy lives no matter what
Manifestation is also only possible because we were made in God's (mental) image. It was His gift to us and that is why to me manifestation is so beautiful, it is, at least to me, an act to get emotionally closer to God and to your faith. We are also always subconsciously manifesting, something that happens automatically and so subconsciously would be pretty unfair to be considered a sin. But of course, if you are still unsure there is always praying for guidance andI recommend that above everything else
