    the air plane argument is void. Planes need some level of redundancy, starting with EEC memory and other methods of error detection and correction.
    Missing that is negligence.
    that is like Toyota arguing that they can not even make adequate carpets, let alone software, let alone telling the truth in court. I mean: Toyota did fail at all three: Carpets was their admission - great argument. Software: They claimed to follow guidelines, but did not. Lying in court: Yeah: Saying to NASA that a bit flip is impossible due to ECC Memory, yet not having ECC... that is not a smart tactic.
    But that would be like an US aircraft manufacturer using just one sensor, when the plane has two.
