Friends & International visitors, Judge Barak is the Original Writer of Judges Chapter 5. This man wrote 1 chapter of the Bible, he fights really well and is a strong runner chasing down Siserah over 40 miles [very fit body, very healthy diet & lifestyle]. Judges chapter 5 is performed by both Deborah and Barak as part of the Celebration feast where God's people (& the Gentile believers rescued by the Judge) all gets together to Chant & Sing (together with Traditional Dancing) in a Celebration Banquet. Judges 4 & 5 are later compiled and rewritten into the Old Testament by Prophet Samuel, and later translated and recompiled (and wrote into the English Bible) by British Bible Translators, John Wycliffe and later, William Tyndale, so all of us can sit comfortable in our congregation meetings to read what this Warrior Judge penned down 3,200 years ago. PS: His name, once again, is correctly pronounced as: Baa-Raak [pronounce with a Nice round Aaah]. His name is not berek, and certainly not bay wreck, those pronounciations are wrong as can be. Pronouncing his name correctly shows respect for the Judge. In this bible film (and in the bible), Canaanite general (Serial Rapist) Siserah openly shows contempt for the Judge (although he admires Barak's fighting style, despite the fact that Barak cannot overcome him at first, God's people have no choice but to flee). Siserah envies Barak's Spirituality and his qualities as a Man. The wicked will always hate the righteous, we see modern examples of criminals defying a Judge in cases such as Serial Rapist Ariel Castro openly showing contempt for Judge Pamela Barker. No criminals will go unpunished, and all criminals will be brought to Justice in God's due time! As shown in the bible Yēhowah God empowers Barak to take a stand against the Canaanite Army. All Judges (Samuel included) are specifically commanded by Yēhowah to execute judgement on vicious criminals (such as Agag, Siserah, the Amalekites, the Phillistines etc). Some Christians (not all, some) wrongly believe that this is some how violent or inappropriate, when they read and envision men like Judge Barak clashing swords with Siserah. Truth is such ones had forgotten (a) Jehovah/Yēhowah God had issued a Divine Decree to Smite the unrepentant Amalekite, Siserah included for their Murderous behaviours (b) Amalek + Midian have bonded into a Confederacy (Blood Oath) to destroy God's people (c) God's people in the promised land is cruelly bullied and viciously oppressed in the most Savage, Brutal, and Inhumane manner by Siserah (Canaanite army general), Amalek, Phillistine, and Midian. (d) Many women and children are brutally raped and killed by Siserah and Judge Barak (after Yēhowah God spoke to him one on one personally, like the way God always communicate with Abraham, Moses, Ezekiel, Apostle John etc), Barak is appointed to under take this dangerous mission to Serve and Protect the people. Sadly some "Christian" even in the Jw Truth (certainly not all not everybody, just some), feel compassion for Agag and Amalek and feels this is so violent, how can Judge Barak just kill the enemies? Aren't we all suppose to love hug & forgive everyone? Truth is, back in Gideon + Judge Barak's day, the number of God's people who were taken Hostage, tortured, bullied, raped, murdered & assaulted is Alarmingly High. Therefore it is important to See the situation as Yēhowah God sees it, the huge number of women raped and killed, especially Pregnant women, dying in the hands of Amalek. Amalekites + Midian have conspired to do a Genocide of God's people, this is Satan's master plan to prevent the Messiah from arriving. If you feel that this video (my video) on Judge Barak is somehow violent and you feel that we need to love the Amalekites and love Siserah. Yours Truly is not hugging Siserah anytime and Yours Truly (& many others) do not support this Unscriptural view. Siserah dies in Jael's (Ya'el's) hand as Direct Judgement from Yēhowah, Siserah is a serial rapist and murderer for as long as Judge Barak can remember (after the death of Judge Ehud, the Canaanite King Jabin hired Siserah to start the Genocide campaign in Judges 4 &5). In Judges chapter 5 Barak is repeated referred to as "Son of Abinoam", his father is a faithful and godly man, abinoam could very well not be alive at the time of the Battle at Mount Tabor. Barak & Deborah's heroic deeds are remembered in a song in Chapter 5. Yours Truly, a Jw Christian Fitness Trainer, whole heartedly support Yēhowah's Appointment of the 14 Warriors Judges and King David's 37 Mighty Men, this provision (of fighting men from Ehud to Barak to David, biblical warriors/martial artists) are there to Protect God's People [young & old, especially women], Serve the Will of the True God, and ensure that the lineage of the Messiah would not be wiped out. God 's thinking is always Higher than man. Sadly some christians (once again, some, not all) their conscience is not tuned right spiritually, some are not seeing the gravity of the danger God's people are in (back in Judge Barak's day), some even starts feeling sorry for Siserah and starts having compassion for Amalek and began self righteously judging Judge Barak (for being "too violent"). Some even start seeing Judge Barak as a "violent & mean person" instead of seeing him as heroically delivering the lives of countless women. Some have forgotten Yēhowah 's Anger & Pain at the Evil actions directed against Innocents (who suffer continously in Siserah's hands), so this war against Canaan + Amalek has to be fought, even Judge Barak (& prophetess Deborah) understands the gravity of this situation (she kept urging him). Please Always remember, Yēhowah 's thinking is higher than Yours, and Yēhowah 's way of looking at matters is more important than somebody's weak conscience (easily offended, easily hurt, finding fault with the bible or God). Regarding Amalek +Midian's Brutality, and the Immense Cruelty of the Phillistines (especially Siserah), Yēhowah God's own sentiments is strongly felt when he said to "Bring the man of Lawlessness to Nothing", and His Own Words echoes in the Inspired Scriptures: [Exodus 17:8 -16] "Now Yēhowah will have War with Amalek from Generation to Generation". Exodus 15:3 Yēhowah is a Powerful Warrior [Yēhowah Ish-mil-Hamah]. God's reason for War is far, far different from man's view. And Yēhowah has given Amalek and Siserah plenty of time to repent but they proudly refuse. All who are Spiritually Mature and Genuine in worshipping in Yēhowah, will see the situation from Yēhowah's eyes, not their own faulty or distorted conscience, and certainly not their own preferences. "‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My Ways are higher than your ways, and My Thoughts than your thoughts" [Prophet Isaiah 55:8]
