Here in Australia the foxes would be in there quick time, lots of bodies left, no heads. We have chicken wire 6ft high & 1ft under ground at fence line going into pen. Usually they are locked into hen house overnight.

Hello dear Michael and Florian. Great video. The chickens and turkeys will need a bigger hen house and nesting boxes. You will definitely need to make a covered shelter for the food. Hope you are able to get the rest of the cottage completed sooner than later. Stay healthy and happy. ❤️❤️🙏✨🇺🇸☮️🐶🐔🐥🐣
I suggest that you keep the feed in the coop under cover at all times too. That way if you are late letting them out it doesn’t matter because they have access to food and water
Yes, the chickens will lose some feathers and slow down on the egg laying until after the winter equinox when the days start to get longer. Some people use lights on timers during the winter to keep them laying, but I think they need the break as that's their natural pattern. I hope there's room inside the hen house for the new feeder when it rains. Awesome purchases!!!

Happy to see the Aga is working well again, good job done Michael! Lots of good information regarding the care of all your birds in the comments. Florian is a natural on camera. Thanks 🙏🏻❤️
The fence still looks very precarious... Either you replace for one higher and stronger, or another massacre will repeat. Dogs and foxes are what they are...
Florian is a cutie on the video. Love the new birds and Earnest is adorable. Gwen is looking nice and slim. How fun it would be living in a Chateau! Keep the videos coming.😍
Love to watch the new Birdies arrive sound and cheery ..., to see you happy Michael and busy getting them installed. Also happy to see Florian becoming more comfortable. He's relaxed and witty! Love-m. Wish you both the very best together! Yeppedidoo!
One of my favorite qualities of Michael is his problem solving ability. A solutions driven man who leaves things better than he finds them. Very admirable.
Hello dear Michael and Florian. Great video.
The chickens and turkeys will need a bigger hen house and nesting boxes.
You will definitely need to make a covered shelter for the food. As soon as you start getting a lot of rain, your feed will get wet and molding too.
The kitchen in your cottage is looking pretty great. Hope you are able to get the rest of the cottage completed sooner than later.
Stay healthy and happy. ❤️❤️🙏✨🇺🇸☮️🐶🐔🐥🐣
Lovely birds!
I suggest that you keep the feed in the coop under cover at all times too. That way if you are late letting them out it doesn’t matter because they have access to food and water
Florian your English is really coming along! I’m impressed!
You are both so sweet. Stay well.
Michael, I enjoyed the video immensely. Florian is a great addition. I'm surprized that he speaks english as well as he does.
J’Adore Florian! 🤩💙
Hi Michael- Earnest’s reaction to all the new birds was precious ❤️ children are the best 💕 So looking forward to the look back vlog- l remember the new beam going in- it was epic! The whole family will get a kick out of it too. Have a great week. 🕊
You can feed your chickens and maybe the ducks and turkeys kitchen scraps! They will eat almost anything! I googled it for my chickens. They love scraps and it makes their yolks richer.
Can you be sure the neighbor dog won't make its way into the coop again? A higher fence maybe? Florian's English is improving.
