This Deck Has ONLY ONE UNIT... (Darkwraith Void Gate) | Legends of Runeterra

Today, I built a Darkwraith deck with Void Gate! The goal of this deck is to grant Darkwraiths in our deck Overwhelm, so that they can't get chump blocked! ...and since we aren't playing any other units besides Darkwraith in this deck, Void Gate is GUARANTEED to give all of our Darkwraiths overwhelm for the rest of the game!

With only darkwraith, you could play formal invitation, maybe harrowing return, etc.

Unfortunaly when you revive or create new darkwraiths they are only 1/1, the buffs happen only in deck

you still get more Dark Wraiths to shuffle into the deck, they may be 1/1's, but they inadvertantly help you draw into the big guys

@@amateurishauthor2202 that is actually incorrect... when they die they copy the STRONGEST one in the deck... so they wouldn't be 1/1s inside the deck they would copy whichever one is the strongest... thus adding more copies to the deck for you to draw from.

Formal invitation definitely isn't the worst idea! Like fabyooo said, they'll only be 1|1s, but 3 mana for 2 darkwraiths is still close to soul cleave. Might be worth...

foyer for more attacking units and hallowed keyword is fun to give to deck, maybe some lucky finds, definitly song of isles, and maybe one of malefic spear so you can grant even more fearsome

I wonder if stuff like grave physician would make drawing the wraith easier, since it’s “draw a unit” (idk if there’s any other cards like this, that’s the one i had at the top of my mind
Edit: also noxus gives access to alot of overwhelm through spells, may be better for a wincon

On the supercharge/soul cleave you could've soul cleaved first and supercharge the furthest wraith since it dies last

The problem with this is that when you soul cleave, you up the count of wraiths in your deck from 3 to 5...so void gate will only grant 3/5 wraiths supercharge. Whereas, if you supercharge before you soul cleave, since there are only 3 wraiths in deck, all wraiths from that point on will have guaranteed supercharge.
