My dad has been playing piano since he was 8 and I have learned some songs but I wanted to surprise him for his birthday since he loves this song but hasn’t learned it yet. I finally managed to do the part 1 to 6 with both hand and it took me two full days but when you get it it fells really good .You should probably start very slowly like put the speed .25 and then speed it up if you fell comfortable
Update: I played it perfectly with both hands in a month.

I am writing this comment to thank you for this tutorial. I just started playing piano (self teaching) and this has been my 3th song to learn (right after clocks and the scientist). The tutorial is easy to follow, your explanation is amazing. It took some hours to practice the timings (I am not really good at "feeling the music") but it feels great to be able to play this song. Wow this song is easier than expected. Took me 5 hours split into 2 days to complete the full song. I’m slow and weak but I’ll get better with the flow and speed over time.

You don't need to wait, I have very small hands as well, but you can still play it :) just take it easy and practice a bit ;)

River flows in you is about 4-5 on henle soo you'll have struggles if you're an absolute beginner
This was one of the first songs I learned to play on piano, yeah it's a bit difficult but you can do it and it gets much easier.

please teach slower on a 50% low speed, easier for beginners thank you!
if its to fast or to complicated to learn it at that speed you should probable start with any easier song
