That's how you make sure your adult children still want to be around you. Our parents interfered and criticized our partner so much that we barely see them now. Also, love that they're doing conscious parenting! We've done it from the beginning and our 8 and 5 year olds are rockstars!

As a mom of 2 I disagree. I love both my kids equally. My 2nd is easier than my first ever was but my first made me a mom and I love him so much! Love differently, yes, but it's equal. And both are my favorites! I try to take out time for both together and individually

0ne thing I can sense is that maybe Mamajaan had a hard time with in laws at her time. And now she having an angelic soul, wants to break the cycle. And doesn't want anything for other girl the same that she went through. Because such great mindset is only made when you through a rough time, and get alot to learn from. Specially I sense it from the way she cries when asked certain questions.
This made me so emotional🥹Mamajaan did such an amazing job raising you and your siblings. My parents raised my brother and I from the beginning what’s right and wrong, values and cultures to make sure we never forget our roots since my brother and I grew up in Canada. We need mother in laws like her. I love how she was so accepting of your marriage despite Puja is from a different faith and culture. I pray every girl gets a good relationship with their mother in laws. I get that some Desi MIL’s can be stereotype especially Pakistanis like myself when it comes to their son’s partner and saying they are not good enough for them and controlling them to marry who they choose for him.
