The French Team Chess Championship 2024 | Top 16 takes place May 30 to June 9, 2024, in Chartres, France.
The 16 teams are divided into two groups (A and B) of 8 teams. In each group the teams compete in a round-robin system (7 rounds). The first 4 teams advance to the upper group, the remaining 4 play in the lower group (4 rounds). The winning team in the Upper Pool is the French Club Champion. The last 4 teams in the lower group are relegated to the lower division.
The time control is 90 minutes for the first 40 moves followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game plus a 30-second increment starting on move one.
