Thank you, Golden Insights, for the dashboard. I am having difficulty understanding parameters and parameter actions in Tableau. Could you please make a video on how to apply these functions in a dashboard ?
Hi! Yes, I can. I have some videos on how to use a parameter for responsive metrics (ruclips.net/video/cC6o84wBhOQ/видео.html), for multi-value filters (ruclips.net/video/eLpKQe6wbos/видео.html), and for time period filters (ruclips.net/video/AZtXi1L7xr4/видео.html), but I can work on a video for all the use cases of parameters :)
@@hmtnhk Tableau Public, the free version, offers many of the same visualization features shown in the video-like creating charts and dashboards. It’s a great way to get started! Just keep in mind it has limited data connections and saves work publicly, so it’s best for personal projects or practice :)
Great question! Finding the right balance between layout flexibility and performance is key. Floating elements can impact performance, especially with complex dashboards, as Tableau has to render each floating item separately. Limiting the number of floating elements or combining some into tiled containers can help improve rendering speed. Hope this helps :)
Very informative!!!!! Love your videos!!!
Thank you :)))
Thanks for this! I'm building my portfolio and your videos helps me a lot!
That's awesome! I've got more coming out soon :)

How much is the tableau vetsion you're using? Thanks
Hi! It’s 70 per month for enterprise explorer but you can use tableau public for free :)
@golden_insights and the free version has the same features you showed in your video?

@golden_insights thank you
Keeping all the sheets and containers floating, doesn't it affect the performance ?... especially during data rendering
