I figure 11.2 is almost certainly going to be the World Core revealed in the recent discs quest. A massive Titan facility at the bottom of the Coreway makes a lot of sense as the end of the expansion, because it is the end of the Coreway. Whatever happens at the end of 11.2 at the Worldcore will lead to Quel'thalas.
I’m not sure if you noticed in the Siren isle overview video, the developer Katie, as she is talking about the siren isles, she has an open screen with Kazan on it. If you take your eagle eyes and look at her jacket, you will also see a Kaja-cola pin on her chest. We could be going back to the first place we found Azurite, and their maybe one of these calcified chunks within the undermine itself. Also! We could see the reemergence of Galiwix, who I think is actually Detharoc.
@@LycrusWoWI would also like to point out that both Kazan and Tal’abim are actually in the south seas off the coast of Kalemdor. They are not represented in their correct location with the current in game map. Look at an older map, then look at where Kaz’algar is in comparison to Kazan and Tal’abim. They should both be just north of Kaz’Algar.
It's underground so the War is still Within, that's good enough for me! I'm super thrilled with what we're getting still, but I get some points for dynamic ground mounts I think!!
In the next patch we go to siren island on the surface… from there we something will happen and we will be forced to travel to plunder island. Home of the blood sail buccaneers, that’s our mega dungeon. The next raid is back underground, probably across the ocean in hallow fall or beneath it
The megadungeon's main theme has never been related to the next expansion. It has a hint in a boss, at best. And the 11.0 etherealraid items - one of them is literally the icon used for a trinket that drops from the ethereal in the 11.0 raid, and the other fits the theme of another drop. I very much doubt it means there's an ethereal raid coming in 11.2
1 off so far! Siren's Isle:Forbidden Reach is already so similar that it's just a bit of, "Hey I wonder if this what we're doing now". It's potentially interesting, but also concerning, seeing how content formulas played out in XIV. Regarding the Ethereal icons; My guess is that someone pulled the icons from a dev build which forced them all onto live, but the raid tags like that are always indicative of what content they are made for, not artistic thematic. Ex, Ky'veza's warp blade icon uses the 'nerubianraid' tag, not etherealraid. I also am not really convinced we'll get an ethereal raid for 11.2, but we are 100% getting one at some point. Midnight makes more sense for that.
@@LycrusWoW I won't be surprised if the megadungeon has setup for midnight in it. But that's entirely different from the theme of the megadungeon. DOTI had hints towards TWW in it, but the theme of the dungeon itself was entirely disconnected from TWW.
Maybe my wording was unclear in the video, but I don't believe I suggested the theme would be directly related to Midnight in that way, just in the form of hints/early plot threads like we saw in DOTI. So, we're on the same page! Ultimately, it will be explicitly War Within content.
Great video, I appreciate your deep dive into the lore speculation.

Oh wow I didn't see that, thank you for pointing it out!!

@@LycrusWoW hey! Look how this prediction turned out. 🤪

I have a dumb idea that if blizzard was to do warcraft 4. it would be about the Arathi empire and the enemies they have faced.

That’s my theory anyway

We've got to spite Ybarra even harder and turn his "No Pirates" into a solid "No, Pirates!"

It was that with the ending of dawn of the infinite but that's a 1 off
