This might be the best combat music I've ever heard. Not only is it suspenseful, it also has a slight 'emotional' feel to it. Really adds drama, like good combat music should :)

HA XD yeah I know that feeling, even though I've heard from many that there is no shame in doing so. I gave up trying to get through the he game on Normal, so I reluctantly replayed an Easy. And to be honest it's still kinda hard, but not too hard. I named some of my soldiers after my friends and they have become Potent alien killers. Just today I think I stopped a terror attack on a country, and took out two of those sticking cyber disks without losing anyone, and remarkable enough. Not taking any damage besides having a bit of a rookie get critically wounded at first. He was in a tight spot too, and both cyber disks opened up on him and luckily enough both missed. It was amazing. Normally terror attack missions are murder for me either way, but this one kinda felt like it actually went right. Not to mention I saved 14/16 cities :D Not to gloat or anything though, like I said it's easy difficulty so I'm sure veterans of the game would just laugh at my story.... Maybe....
You need to have units overwatching before the spot. When you spotted an alien,they will always get a free move to scramble for cover-unless they absolutely can't see you(battle radar and ghost armor)
There's nothing more awesome than trying to kill an Ethereal with a rocket, missing and thereby blowing up the **** device you are trying to recover from the Overseer UFO :)

Heh, it kind of happened that even though one of my best Snipers usually have a 60%+ hit chance & hit, on a Terror mission, she missed 3 times in a row while there was a 61% chance to hit.
lol. then i recommend changing position. oh and i found a cool tactic to do. in the early game when you like run. and spot a enemy. run back and then ambush with overwatch. they wont even know what hit him
