Yeah, and this video really did NOT depict what happened very accurately. Barr and his buddy had been tugging on this snake, trying to actually capture it, PRIOR to it going after Barr's legs. It didn't just swim outta nowhere and attack. It had been manhandled and provoked first. Search YT for "Giant Python Attacks | National Geographic" to see what really happened.

You can get rabies simply by breathing in bat poop odor. One has to be an idiot going into a cave full of bat poop. Back in the 15th century, an entire battalion of Spanish soldiers caught rabies in a Mexican cave full of bat poop.

    • @brined_soul

I'm glad I've seen a few videos on cave diving. It's almost always "silt on floor causes zero visibility, the person can't find their way out". Not that I would do that anyway, but if I did have an easy opertinity to go, the most I'd do is look around the entrance. Not going in deeper. I want to be able to see. What's the fun if you can't see the rock formations and such anyway? Just seeing nothing but very muddy water. Like going to look at the Grand canyon in super think fog everywhere, not seeing more than 10 feet out. Meh.
