Magnet bomb is a physical type steel move. Magnemite's special attack is higher than it's physical, so there's quite a difference in damage output! I realized this when playing White 2 for the first time.

A really hard challenge would be a shiny only challenge in scarlet/ violet but you can only encounter shiny Tera raid Pokémon If you wanted to put yourself through that kinda of torture and congrats on 40k🎉
The nose pass in my opinion is legal it gains the typing and these types of challenges you need as many encounters as you can get. It’s not like your typing gave you a advantage anyhow rock have 5 weaknesses
