I love this adventures of Norma content. Hopefully the toes heal up. I'm "toed" that it should heal up with a bandaid and antibiotics. Best of luck. But for real I always enjoy this content. In another universe I would have gone and moved to Vegas and done this kinda content.
The channels are just like what I would love to do. I need a time machine to go back and tell myself to go and do it haha. But I relate to injuries for sure. 2 weeks ago slammed my finger in between doors and hurt my foot. But always rooting for ya! Can't wait to see the next one.

For the first time I'm watching your channel on a 70 inch TV. I must say same great content but that was the biggest fork I've ever seen. Lol, keep working hard and great rewards will follow.

Fun video! I really like your black pants/sweats that you are wearing in the apartment scenes. Where did you get them? I always have a hard time finding cute, flattering sweats to wear since I am short.
I finally found the name of the sweats! I literally couldn’t remember. They are Halara. I bought them like a year or two ago so hopefully they still have them. They are called joggers

I would say try the Sony 20mm f/1.8, which is super lightweight and since it's a f/1.8 it helps do great in low light situations and still gives you a wide enough angle to vlog and capture everything around you.

While I think the color rendition is a little better with the f/4, I don't think it's worth picking up. You'll be sacrificing low light performance just to save a few ounces in weight.
I'm not too familiar with the current Sony lens lineup, but I recommend you go for a fixed 16mm instead. Since you tend to shoot wide anyway.
And buy used, KEH is a good place to start.

I use a Viltrox 13mm f1.4 on a Nikon Z 30. Wide and awesome in low light. I know you are a Sony Girl, but I'm a huge fan of the Nikon ecosystem. Since your main job is Youtubing can or do you write off those meals?
Lot of content creators use this lens, can’t go wrong with this one, love the center focus, and very light compared to some of other lenses out there, however, quality of the lens means nothing if you don’t use a gimbal. I know you have someone shooting you on majority of your videos but the days you shoot yourself, you need to use a gimbal, this video segment was way too shaky and when you are panning or switching from person to person, you have to do it slow and smooth, otherwise it is just unwatchable and some people can get motion sickness too. You have the creativity down, but it might be helpful to either continually have someone do the shooting or please get a gimbal if you are going to shoot the video yourself.
this channel should do live streams from your couch. that way you can use your tv to read the chat
The 16-35 2.8 opens wider and works better in low light. The f4 won't do as well in low light.

I loved it Norma! I have been to the T-Mobile Arena to see Alanis Morisette! It was my first time seeing her live though I have been listening to her since my senior year of high school in 1995! It was amazing. And, omg Norma, I love women's feet, and yours are so cute!! Short women have the best feet, he he. I hope your toes are feeling better now 🙂 "smushed"! 🙂

The only thing I would recommend is a stabilizer- gimbal?
A few years ago, I was talking with SayHiToMatthew and telling him how annoyed and miserable I would be if I had to film everything I did in Vegas. I made sure to tell Matthew to try to take some time to NOT film and actual enjoy his limited time in Vegas. Matthew told me that he actually still had fun while filming content. I guess it's different for you, Norma, because you live in Vegas and can have lots of days when you film content and still have lots of days not filming content. But I'm usually at my vacation house in Vegas somewhere around 16-20 weeks per year, which is a lot of time, and I wouldn't want to waste a single moment having to film things. I like to enjoy the moment. Part of it might be a personality thing, with certain people not minding having to do it as much. Part of it might also be a generational thing. I'm right at that cusp where people my age don't take pictures and film everything we do, but most people even a few years younger than me are constantly posting their lives on social media. And I guess RUclips is pretty much your job; a lot of people do unpleasant things or things they might not want to do at work because they need to pay their bills. But, at the end of the day, you made the decision to be a RUclips vlogger, so I guess you must be okay with having to film content. All I know is that the vlogger life is definitely not for me.

The new lens looks sharp, but the video seemed jerky stabilization when you were walking around. That Blair Witch motion sickness feeling. Not sure if they was RUclips or frame rate. Thanks for all your videos.
The iPhone 15 Pro I think makes it difficult to choose a traditional DSLR rig for vlogging.

The F4 isn't as bright in low light. I use a DJI osmo Action 3. Stability control and dewarp. 4K 60fps
Ouch! Dont use rubbing alcohol on your skin, it will dry it out. Not good for wounds. Clean it with soap and water, a little neosporin, and a band aids, or a couple of band aids. The new borrowed lens, seems a cleaner picture then the larger lens.

Norma & friends, take my friendly advice- get up, get dressed & stay dressed all day. Don't strip your shoes just because you're in for a little while. This is how you can avoid stubbed toes, be stings & skinning your foot w the door. 🙂
