I lived in China for a year but despite being different, it was a great experience. I believe Chinese people are great people. People should go beyond and understand cultural differences and not see them as limitations.
Ya'll can think what you want about Chinese society's impressions towards African/Blacks, but one thing that I've both noticed and experienced: Chinese women are VERY open-minded to dating us. Even when I studied in JAPAN for a 1-year exchange, most of my best experiences were with Chinese women instead of Japanese women.
In America it is the other way. It's so mixed that people just ignore you and a lot of people think it is rude. In other countries foreigners stand out and get attention.
Follow up question: Did the old generation of educated Chinese know that Africa is a continent & that there are many countries in Africa. Why Is the young generation uninformed about Continent of Africa?

The same way we call white folks white but they not white in appearance but whites is the best way to describe them. kamhong only melinated people in America identify themselves as "black." Black is not a nationality, ethnicity, or culture. Most intelligent people know this, so you won't find many Africans or melinated people outside America identify themselves as black.

I am just surprised with the horrible history of South Africa ....... of course there was/is a difference between black Africans and white Africans ........ for start black Africans were required to carry a passbook at all time in South Africa in the Apartheid years and no such requirement were required for whites .
