I think if you get a suit from a problematic maker before all the horrible stuff comes out that's fine, people who purchased dhc fursuits had no idea of the drama coming up and they should be allowed to keep their fursuit because they didn't know and at thst point what's done is done and you can't reverse it
@@enderwalkgang im confused with what you're saying, my point is a fursuitcis expensive, once you get it and you find out its from a problematic maker it can be hard, if you retire it immediately its a waste of money, if you sell it you have to sell your character, lots of people buy suits from people they later disagree with and boycott, I personally would never get a dhc fursuit, because not only are they problematic, I really don't like the appearance, all im trying to say is people shouldn't be forced to retire their suits and waste their money or sell there character because of what they found out after purchase
I agree as long as they aren’t like supporting the maker still yk? Like some (not all, it’s actually a really small amount) people with DHC suits are still showing support for DHC even after everything and saying they’re gonna buy more suits from them, as long as you’re not doing that then yeah it’s fine you got a suit from them before the drama
I have a nearly 10 year old Fuzz Factory suit that I still wear. Commissioned them before they even had their business name. It's really interesting to see how their style has evolved through the years. Also interesting to see what people have commissioned their suits. --> No one knows I have one of their suits since their style is so different.
Really cool list! Pretty much agree for the most part, only a couple of comments I had: 1) Although Kemonokapi make kemono style fursuits, they’re not actually Japanese! They’re based in Canada (I should know, I’m getting a suit from them next year :3) 2) To my knowledge, One Fur All has even more notorious wait time issues than even the makers you mentioned as having wait time issues. I’m aware of someone who’s been waiting for their One Fur All suit for over 8 years for example x..x
As someone who is very fickle with their OC designs, but is willing to save money for a good fursuit maker, i rather not have a long wait time. My interests change with time too and i rather not get disinterested in a sona by the time i get the suit
@@WafflesDoesArt Not sure if mentioned yet but I wanted to explain the pronunciation: Kuh- moh- no kah - pee Their syllables within the alphabet (hiragana/katakana) for the classic "a, e, i, o, u" are different than the English version. And, although their "a" does sound like an "a", it is more open. Like the English sound of "aw" for "awnings". While the "e" is softer like an English sounding "eh" for "edge". While "i" is that "eeee" sound. Like how'd we use in "knees" or "bees". Then you have "o" which is just how you'd imagine; a very "OH", open "o" sound like in "hope". The remaining syllable is "u" which sound like an elongated "o" you'd use in "boo" or "glue" and "blue". There is more to this, of course, but this is the very basic/beginner example to the language. I hope this helps for any future potential Japanese foreign words for ya! Which means a human character with animal characteristics such as an anime girl with only cat ears and a tail. While Kapi could be derived from many places. It could mean "beak" for a bird. It could come from the Japanese onomatopoeia "Kapi Kapi" which means "dried".
one thing i would like to mention about More Fur Less is that they’re aware one of the employees is an active zoophile and refuse to do anything about it :/ (i believe the employees name is something like Koshi. Love the video! I absolutely adore houndsteeth, artkour and citymutt. I adore the shaping of the paws and digitigrade on houndsteeth suits, the handpaws create the illusion of an almost feral-like paw, and the footpaws are round! Not human foot shaped! (Personal pet peeve of mine) and the digi leg padding flows so well from hip to knee to hock to foot, the human leg is masked so well. ArtKour suits are pretty much my favourite, they have so! Much! Attitude! Plus I feel they’re one of the best makers at avoiding same-face, they design their characters each time, and if you see the concept art alongside the final suit it’s absolutely crazy how spot on the result is, it’s like the character just stepped out of the page! Citymutt I love for their unique construction style, they have so many little touches from how they shave the fur on their faces to additional magnetic parts that make them stand out utterly and completely pop. Some of their headbases I don’t really like the shaping for though, in particular their tiger and horse headbases. However I love their snow leopard base, their rabbit base and their fox base to absolute pieces! DHC used to be my favourite before the drama happened, I’m actually friends with the owner of the cat suit you liked and she had glowing praises for the quality, comfort, turnaround and business practices. It’s a shame about what happened and how poorly the company responded to it when it came to light. Same cat suit owner also got a suit from One Fur All, and had to wait eight years for it, she just got it last year! They’re definitely the worst for wait times by a long long way, but the suits are gorgeous, eyes especially. Apparently communication can be spotty but they were good about correcting a mistake they made in the markings. She also has a suit from MixedCandy, unfortunately she really didn’t enjoy the communication or the final product. There was a mistake in the airbrushed face markings that makes them uneven, she got four finger handpaws instead of five like she ordered, and the head was given teeth when she asked for them not to be included. None of these mistakes were fixed, although it could have been because it was a trade and not a sale. Another friend of mine recently got a MixedCandy as well, he also suffered an extremely long wait time (2+ years), poor communication, multiple mistakes (though these were fixed) and frequent promised and then missed deadlines (we’re in the UK, and he was planning to pick up the suit at MFF 2019 which he was going to anyway. This should have been fine as it was due for completion in June 2019, but he didn’t actually get the suit until March 2020) So although I adore MixedCandy’s suit style, I would never order from them based on how unreliable and uncooperative they are from others’ personal experience. Another favourite maker of mine is Kloofsuits, a maker here in the UK. Their style is absolutely adorable, especially the eyes, and they’ve become quite well known for the excellent handpaw and headbase patterns they’ve released recently. Lemonbrat being at D is a travesty. I have had so many good experiences in all aspects with them. I would extremely reccomend redoing this list, especially with dhc deserving to be ousted
I'm at 3:44 of the video, still watching, I know this is an older video, but I just wanted to say this was very well done and it was great for me to get ideas of what kind of partial to buy because I needed examples of what kinds of styles are out there. Thank you for making the video!
I already ordered from Lemonbrat several months ago, so time to see if I'm on the hit side or the miss side. Kinda funny and sad how I found all the lemonbrat "controversy" only after I ordered but hey, that's kinda on me for rushing my fursuit maker selection (I wanted one ready for my university graduation)
Really? Complaining about the 2 year wait for Lacy but not mentioning how there’s a ton of people STILL waiting for their One Fur All suit for 7 and 8 years, and several more that have waited 9 and 10 years, even one that took over 11 years? Ridiculous.
17:38 oh look it's my fiance, the blue wolf next to the husky plush. I was accepted with Thunderhowl and I can vouch for them. Speedy, as in payment to finished in about a year max with proper communication. Quality is there, Nea is still like new over a year later, no popped seams. Nea's face is a *bit* asymmetrical but you can barely tell in regular wear and I probably notice most as I see the most details in Nea
Kemono stuff is like the yachts of fursuits imo, especially stuff from kemonokapi, like a palette and remimakes. Always wanted one, but commission slots are very hard to come by.
I have been thinking about getting a partial from skyehighstudios but her prices are way lower than some other's so I wondered if you believe this to be a good maker?
She has a youtube channel where she has a couple of videos/tutorials that show her suit building methods, so I’m sure you can have a look and see if they’re at a standard you’re happy with ^^
As a lemonbrat suiter I can attest that early suits were not as good a quality as they currently are my character Rudy is very sturdy. And yes they absolutely love a challenge.
Maaaan I was just waiting for the Madefuryou one as well, they’ve been my dream maker for about 6 years and I finally plan on commissioning them this February. They removed their pricing from their website unfortunately but I’m sure I have enough for just a head… right?…
so i personally own a lemonbrat suit, and honestly i can agree the older suits don't look as good as the newer one's but i've owned over 15+ suits ( including fullsuits, protogens , kemono suits etc) and i have to admit that this suit is by far the most high quality one however i do sometime's have lesser good vision aspecially in the light because they don't black out the inside of the eyes from my experience but they're nice to wear because they have a zipper on the back , creating a nice smooth look to it
The issue with toony og makers it’s that they all kind of look the same and few of them are actually instantly recognizable or they nail their style for a single species (usually canines) and struggle to adapt distinctive characteristics of their style for other animals
It's a difference between same face syndrome and a distinct style. I hate same face syndrome, it feels like you make a bases and slap a character on it insead of making a character. A distinct style is where they have that style but are still unique in shape.
Amazing video just some reason when it came to made fur you, it will just skip it? Like it wasn’t even there when I went frame by frame. Idk if it just my phone, but thought you should know
i swear if i had the money for these- i would buy them so fast- seriously, i have no idea how to get the money, but one day i will... but that day wont be anytime soon :(
I will say though, I think LemonBrat has actually upped for the most part? From what I've been hearing they've worked on trying to improve their work. Although, I'm unsure when your friends got their suits, so I may be wrong on that lol
As tempting as it would be to have a suit made by any one of these makers it’s just not in my price range. I’ve attempted to make a full suit from watching RUclips and I succeeded, I think I did well for a first time maker but I’d like to see from other peoples options
It is a shame that MoreFurLess offers such a strong toony style and options because they are just prohibitively expensive. Strong toon designs are probably the biggest premium you pay outside of kemono suits and unique body sculpts. People here are saying that their turnaround times are better now though, which is good.
You know, I see a huge variety of opinions on this list in the comments...but I was shocked because I disagree with every one of these ranks. Not a bad thing, just difference of opinions
I know someone who bought a DHC suit weeks before all the drama. They still went through with their order And they got a ton of death threats and harassment for it Like I'm sorry some of y'all need to buy a few more brain cells before you should be buying a suit (not aimed at anyone, just general)
DHC -1M MFL -5,000 All the messiness that they have is not great abd their businesses are employing or run by problematic people. No hate to old buys but new buys. I will definitely look at you sideways for supporting that kind of business
Hi! I know it’s been 2 months, but I have an answer! I DO NOT recommend fursuits for people who haven’t stopped growing. They can grow out of it within months! And plus, many many fursuit makers don’t offer fursuit commissions to those who are -18. This is due to legal reasons, and because they need a height, weight, and a duct tape dummy. If you/your child is still growing, you can’t ultimately say the height or weight. These fursuits can be made over the span of a few weeks to a few years, so there can be a big difference by the time the fursuit is done. And another reason is that these are EXPENSIVE! These usually range from $1,500 - 6,000 dollars on average! It would be a huge waste of money to buy something that would be grown out of in months. And the last reason: responsibility. Many young furs who are under the age of 14 might not know how to take care of a fursuit. They might not wash it, they might get it dirty, they might ruin it, or they might break it! There are horror stories of 11 year olds who completely DESTROYED a fursuit out of rage. There are solutions, though! There are dinomasks! I own two dinomasks, these are a hard plastic mask that looks like one of the 4 different dinosaurs in the Jurassic World franchise. They’re easily customizable, you can paint one them, add fur, add eyes out of plastic mesh, and you can add accessories with a simple glue gun! You can buy them in Target for around 10-17 dollars each, you can buy them on Amazon for a whopping 40-60 dollars, but be careful and check the reviews. Or you can buy them on Etsy for a pre-designed or a pre-furred dinomask! Another one is BASICALLY a dinomask, but it’s a skulldog! These are hard plastic masks that you can buy off of Etsy or eBay from these individual makers. These are masks that are skulls of dogs! (There’s other animals too) Well, thanks for reading! Good luck!
@@KlinxKreations u realise there was something wrong with that 14 year old right (the one who destroyed the fur suit head) they need to go to a mental hospital
I stand up for the the amazing talent and well made suits that DHC makes. I love the style of DHC and would order one from them any day. I didn't know about what DHC was being accused of till later, but still want one from her. 16% of people in the world do not believe that God exists. 10% are not sure. 72% say that there is a God. I'm not trying make you a believer. But what the world needs more of is love. Why don't us humans understand that no one is perfect. Why don't we understand that we need to help each other. Why don't we understand that hate will only cause harm to others, and even you. Something I like to say is Love is light and Hate is darkness. When you give your love to someone that is not doing so well or has made some bad choses. Your really motivating them to want to change and became a better person. It helps them see a better path. Where there is light darkness can not be. In a way you are chasing the wrong out of that persons mind that is struggling in life. With love you are chasing the darkness away form that person. Its math, negative = negative. Bad = bad. Love is the only way and is the only way to help some one in need. Hate blinds us and love opens our eyes and heart, and helps us see. Hate will only destroy us and love will bring us back to life. why don't we understand that hate will only make that persons life worse and even your life worse. Please give your love to some one in need. It will make the world a better place.
Supporting bad people....is bad. The problem is they aren't improving or changing their behavior while acknowledging it. They are choosing not to change their problematic behavior and that is where I would NEVER support them with my money.
Love the stuff they make but I cannot support them when they have openly admitted to sexual attraction to kids and animals and not wanting to get therapy or change.

I didn't know there was drama surrounding DHC, just been looking at fursuit makers today, so thanks for the heads up!
They touch kids and animals in a sexual manner. Edit: and they aren't changing.
The fact that Multicolor bark isn’t on here is a crime
Kemono stuff is like the yachts of fursuits imo, especially stuff from kemonokapi, like a palette and remimakes. Always wanted one, but commission slots are very hard to come by.
I love the background music!
I have been thinking about getting a partial from skyehighstudios but her prices are way lower than some other's so I wondered if you believe this to be a good maker?
She has a youtube channel where she has a couple of videos/tutorials that show her suit building methods, so I’m sure you can have a look and see if they’re at a standard you’re happy with ^^
I think shes swag suit wise.
As a lemonbrat suiter I can attest that early suits were not as good a quality as they currently are my character Rudy is very sturdy. And yes they absolutely love a challenge.
I’m happy with one my fursuit from a maker I’m not going to mention, I really want a suit from MFL but their base price is too high to justify.
And, you know, the zoophile they openly employ
For me, I’ll keeping my eye out for k-line, kemonokapi, and happimonsuta .those kemono fursuits are beyond worthy of my wallet.
Maaaan I was just waiting for the Madefuryou one as well, they’ve been my dream maker for about 6 years and I finally plan on commissioning them this February. They removed their pricing from their website unfortunately but I’m sure I have enough for just a head… right?…
catch me not paying any attention to the rating with the video muted just learning about different fursuit artists and styles X'D
On the dhc page there's a photo of morefurless pocari roo? 20:34
so i personally own a lemonbrat suit, and honestly i can agree the older suits don't look as good as the newer one's
but i've owned over 15+ suits ( including fullsuits, protogens , kemono suits etc) and i have to admit that this suit is by far the most high quality one
however i do sometime's have lesser good vision aspecially in the light because they don't black out the inside of the eyes from my experience
but they're nice to wear because they have a zipper on the back , creating a nice smooth look to it
The issue with toony og makers it’s that they all kind of look the same and few of them are actually instantly recognizable or they nail their style for a single species (usually canines) and struggle to adapt distinctive characteristics of their style for other animals
It's a difference between same face syndrome and a distinct style. I hate same face syndrome, it feels like you make a bases and slap a character on it insead of making a character. A distinct style is where they have that style but are still unique in shape.
Why was the Made Fur You section cut out of the video?
The audio was corrupted :(
the thumnail is really creative
Amazing video just some reason when it came to made fur you, it will just skip it? Like it wasn’t even there when I went frame by frame. Idk if it just my phone, but thought you should know
I have a wolf fur suit that’s really cool and I’m choosing to either have beautyofthebass do it or mixed candy because I want her to look aggressive
i swear if i had the money for these- i would buy them so fast- seriously, i have no idea how to get the money, but one day i will... but that day wont be anytime soon :(
Something I noticed about the fur suits by lacy is that they store remind me of dhcs original style
I will say though, I think LemonBrat has actually upped for the most part? From what I've been hearing they've worked on trying to improve their work.
Although, I'm unsure when your friends got their suits, so I may be wrong on that lol
I have def heard horror stories about their suits, but really all they need to fix is quality control. Here's to hoping they keep working to improve
Are you playing Lucid Rhythms in the background??
Dude, what do you mean non-anthro, they are all still anthro
As tempting as it would be to have a suit made by any one of these makers it’s just not in my price range. I’ve attempted to make a full suit from watching RUclips and I succeeded, I think I did well for a first time maker but I’d like to see from other peoples options
I love ❤️ More Fur Less! Definitely one of the best fursuit makers ever!
I'm planning on commissioning them in a few years!
I would love to Mischief Makers in the next list but sadly they don't make suits anymore
I need help looking for a good maker
What did DHC do to have so much drama?
it’s kind of a lot to explain, so i recommend searching a video about it. i believe a youtuber named simple nicks made a good video on it
They have sex with animals and groom children
@@marnieleopardyena8516 well then
First person: it's a lot go look ot up
Second person: perfect summary
just found out that mixedcandy is opening commisions (i think) on the 14th april this year! i just looked and already forgot
Awesome video! I agree with everything
I dont know about hounds teeth being S tier...
id definitely get a kigu from lemon brat
Did madefuryou get cut?
What about skyhigh studios?
I used to have a city mutt suit
It is a shame that MoreFurLess offers such a strong toony style and options because they are just prohibitively expensive. Strong toon designs are probably the biggest premium you pay outside of kemono suits and unique body sculpts. People here are saying that their turnaround times are better now though, which is good.
Commissioning is so scary, what if they steal my money and never make or ship my suit 😢
Thats what reviews are for :>
Hounds teeth’s fursuits eyes are pretty cool
You know, I see a huge variety of opinions on this list in the comments...but I was shocked because I disagree with every one of these ranks. Not a bad thing, just difference of opinions
If you know they are good for not running off with your money then I'm fine waiting a few years for a quality suit
if I ever get rich I want a quadruped suit for my dragon.
Could you do the same thing, but for prices?
Yeah but they would all be $$$ 😁
@@WafflesDoesArt it’s true ;u;
I really like Spilt Grape Soda!
Lol wait wtf, youtube suddenly recommended this and I'm like, "Wait, I recognize that mug!"
Ayo, you skipped made fur you
Same, I thought that maybe they'll talk about Made Fur You at the end, but they completely skip it so . . . 🤷🏽♀️
Is this among us 3d irl?
sussd
MADE FUR YOU HELPED MAKE GROWLY’S SUIT REHEHEHEHEHHEERREREHEGD
ayy! almost 1k subs :D
I know someone who bought a DHC suit weeks before all the drama. They still went through with their order
And they got a ton of death threats and harassment for it
Like I'm sorry some of y'all need to buy a few more brain cells before you should be buying a suit (not aimed at anyone, just general)
I’d wait over a year for a slot. It’d give me plenty of time to get the funds together :(
Nice vid Waffle!
I got recommanded this video , i hope there is the springlocks suit from Freddy Fazbear
Edit: There is none , i'm sad
Love your videos :3
Know a maker with no expression?
*people struggling on dhc because the suits are cute but the person isnt*
We need timestamps and the actual list in the comments
DHC -1M
MFL -5,000
All the messiness that they have is not great abd their businesses are employing or run by problematic people. No hate to old buys but new buys. I will definitely look at you sideways for supporting that kind of business
im the 1000th like owo btw cool video
Clockwork😍😍😍😍😍
I’m getting a Lemonbrat fursuit. I think there a good for a first suit.
they honestly are a lot better than people give them credit for
i love all them
Would have been much better than with those fursuit makers....
Bro looks like a low budget Andrew Tate
I searched up pokemon and found this 🤔
House teet
Some fursuit artists are now putting dog shit inside the heads...
Source? Like I’m actually asking
@@mr.dolphin_muzzle bro done got replying to an 8 month old comment. I just heard it in a tier list video man idk.
Sounds about as legitimate as litterboxes in publis schools. Please use your critical thinking skills.
Kemono furries are so cute.
Hi, can you make a furry for kids of 10 years?
(There’s other animals too)
Well, thanks for reading! Good luck!
@@KlinxKreations u realise there was something wrong with that 14 year old right (the one who destroyed the fur suit head) they need to go to a mental hospital
@@KlinxKreations the Dino mask are really only for some as they don’t normally look good

It will make the world a better place.
what
Supporting bad people....is bad. The problem is they aren't improving or changing their behavior while acknowledging it. They are choosing not to change their problematic behavior and that is where I would NEVER support them with my money.
People like to hate on DHC but they make the best looking stuff
Its more to do with their actions, simplenicks has a good video on it
I hate their old suits the eyes were so dead and emotionless
Love the stuff they make but I cannot support them when they have openly admitted to sexual attraction to kids and animals and not wanting to get therapy or change.
I'm pulling out the shotgun for the Morefurless rating
Same.
creepy shit
Hey man, Love the hair (sorry…)
I will say though, I think LemonBrat has actually upped for the most part? From what I've been hearing they've worked on trying to improve their work.
Although, I'm unsure when your friends got their suits, so I may be wrong on that lol
This was a few years ago, I do hear really good things about the people that run LemonBrat, I would not be shocked if they have gotten a lot better in the last few years
A friend of mine got a Lemonbrat suit and they're really happy with it! And I think it looks great too
