Brings back childhood memories... Saw both the Viggen and the Draken fly quite often.

Draken, Viggen, and now the Gripen. The Swedes definitely know how to make excellent jet fighters.

Out of all the Jet fighter aircraft in the world the Viggen will always be my fave .Incredible and wonderful.

As soon as he lit that afterburner on take it was like a rocket booster.
The thing is kinda crazy and the sound is pure thunder. Hard to record it in a way that gives you an idea of how brutal this thing is.
Draken is a beautiful plane but for me the Viggen has the edge, it is just one amazing plane That takeoff was 🤯
Amazing machine! Fantastic design! Had a lovingly put together, treasured Airfix model of one hanging from my boyhood bedroom ceiling. Great footage. Wish I could have been there to hear the air crackle!

1:30 min. from stand still until max altitude...
Can't even figure out where the fuel goes. Give me diesel every day
