While I appreciate all of the international news that CNN has focused on this year, I am troubled by the lack of "down the middle" political coverage we have seen of our own country's news for kids this year. I have had my students watch this show since it's inception because it showed news on the government in our country so that we could make connections to US history in our past (our curriculum). Please return to showing more news about our government. Show both viewpoints, like Carl did. It got kids thinking. We shouldn't just be judging and being critical of other governments (though we should do that too). In a democracy, it is important we do that with our own. Thanks so much for listening!
