There were the ViewMaster toys too... you put discs with picture slides in them and then with a pull of a lever on the side advance to the next slide. Some of the slides looked 3D too. I liked the ViewMasters that looked like Mickey Mouse. 🙂

Its natural habitat was the local mall, and it was the only place I ever wanted to go. It had crystals and other assorted rocks, posters, rain sticks, telescopes microscopes, nature pack things that had samples you could look through, and a bunch of other stuff. It was THE BEST place in the mall, bar none.
The one in my mall in the 90s was called nature's habitat but it's exactly as she and you describe. I too loved that store. I always had to go in there anytime we went to the mall.
I found this out earlier this year and it’s so tragic. The next day my kids were watching All Dogs Go to Heaven and I almost cried hearing her voice playing the little girl. Heart wrenching.

I use to be all about watches, I think because my grandparents always wore watches. They have a old video of me from my 3rd birthday and I freaked out because they got me my own watch.

The Land Before Time is even more depressing when you know the little girl who voiced Ducky was murdered by her dad when she was 10.
