    Always looking forward to your videos. Love the weasel, it was nice to see him in daylight so the color becomes more striking.

      Hi Tom!
      Glad to hear you have been enjoying the videos. The weasels are one of my favorites too, I love seeing them in the winter especially with them in all white except for the black tip on the tail.
      Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment!

    Wonderful video - loved seeing all the turkeys with all their different sounds - We haven't seen many in our area this year for some reason... Thanks for sharing....

      Hello Ms Sephrena!
      Glad to hear you enjoyed the turkey's. Wonder why you aren't seeing many this year? They seem to go through spurts here where they come and go.

    You sure did leave me is suspense since I didn't see any of the nice big bucks after the 26th. I am hoping they made it through and into December. I don't know if you post your property or not. I do know that all around is county land though. It sure was nice to see all the critters doing well though. Now we need to get some snow. Thank you for sharing your videos. Take care and have a very happy new year.

      Not a nice buck in the whole video

      Hello Ken!
      Those bucks shut right down during the gun deer season with I assume all the pressure in the area? I was surprised there wasn't more buck activity on my land to be honest because the last time I set foot out there was November 1st just to check the cameras. I figured maybe they would use my land as a safe haven from the pressure but that didn't seem to be the case. I recently started to see some nice bucks again which you'll see in upcoming videos but they are only moving at night or in the early morning.
      We need snow bad, I feel for the local business that rely on the snow activities.
      Wishing you and your wife the best in 2025, Happy New Year!

      Nope there absolutely wasn't which was pretty darn depressing!

    Another great video, do you have to use cages for any cameras to prevent bear damage? I love the owl images and the butterball flock is as strong as ever. Surprised there wasnt video of canines chasing deer though, keep up the good work.

    • @715trailcams
      @715trailcams  5 дней назад

      Hey John, thank you!
      I do not use cages or any sort of camera protection. I have looked into this but figured the initial investment plus the extra time to check each camera by having to unlock it just wasn't worth it for me. I probably lose one camera per year to bear attacks and have accepted that. My more expensive cameras I typcially do not put out in the spring/summer when the bears are more active for this reason.
      Glad you enjoyed the owl images and I love your butterball reference for the turkey's 😂
      Luckily no dog's chasing in this one, I often do not include those clips even when they do happen because I figure most people don't want to see that. With less activity in the winter months you may see me include more of those types of clips though.
      Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment!

    Have you ever captured a moose on camera?

    • @715trailcams
      @715trailcams  5 дней назад

      I would love to catch a moose but no I never have. There have been moose spotted in Tomahawk before though. They seem to be spotted in the Minocqua area almost every year but only beliefly pass through that area.
      Thanks for watching!

    I am just south of you (Irma). ALL my deer go completely nockturnal around November 15th. Almost impossible to shoot a buck after that.

    • @715trailcams
      @715trailcams  4 дня назад

      Hello Pottawatomi, I feel your pain! It's very similair around here. The bucks still only seem to move at night or very early in the morning before light. Thanks for watching!

    Crazy how the bucks go nocturnal almost immediately after opening day of gun hunting (11/23 this year)!

    • @715trailcams
      @715trailcams  5 дней назад +1

      Yes absolutely agree with this! I thought perhaps with me staying out of my property during that time frame they would be more activity here but that was obviously not the case. I think they just find a safe spot and hunker down.
      Thanks for watching!
