In middle of February I started to wonder that Dimi didn't comment for the last couple of videos like he usual did. Then I did watch a video of Modelcar Finn where someone mentioned it's a nice tribute to Dimi and then I read he passed away. Like you I was also not knowing whether it's false or true. I did remember he wanted to visit the NAMAC model car expo in Netherlands with Diecast Dude. And there I also found the message about that Dimi passed away on February 3rd - he was even still commenting in good mood on my video from February 2nd. Then also I found the comment of Dimi's nephew on his last video that Dimi passed away due to a heart attack. Very sad - and like you said, he was very generous. . I also got a parcel from him with vans in scale 1/43 in last year. And he was also commenting on so many videos. He was also one of my first subscribers from 2017 - even before he started to show his model car collection as Youngtimer Oldtimer, previously he was Audi Power. So during the pandemic he started to show his collection and he really had a huge one with more than 1,000 pieces. After so many years of his funny and great comments I really hoped to meet him. Rest in peace Dimi! And it's also great to see the person behind this channel. I did only know Dimi's voice.
Never knew he was called Audi Power before being Youngtimer Oldtimer, i've learned the news from Jeroen of Chasing diecast cars who got the news from David Johns of Twyce Diecast and just after i've checked Dimi last video and saw his nephew comments, the following day i did the face cam speech which was 1st shot and unscripted later that day Diecast Dude did a community post and that's how most People learned the news.
