If you take into consideration that in the movie he only faces one enemy... then it even makes sense that there aren't any other characters to be AOE... in the movie's sense.
It is a conspiracy with the missions that require you to have all types to get the extra rewards. At best, you could have 2 STR Gohan for the mission, but never 3. Also, if this Gohan was a different type would make fights easier.
